It's not AI, but I have good news for you though : what you seek already exists !

I'm sorry I know this HN and not reddit, but your formulation is so close to the meme "Thinking quickly, Dave constructs a homemade megaphone, using only some string, a squirrel, and a megaphone."

Unless it has been recently standardized it's not valid C, it's a GNU extension.

You should check out the lpc8N04 from NXP then ;)

I'm sorry, but that's a really narrow minded take. There are a lot of good reasons to have IDA or Ghidra installed on your computer, if only for fun and learning reverse-engineering. This should NOT prevent you to play others games.

( To everybody reading this : if you like computer and puzzles, you should absolutly try to reverse-engineer a simple binary at least once. It's fun !)

I have tried quite a lot of alternative discord clients, my favorite is still Abaddon[0]. It works great, and its UI is fonctionnal enough for my needs.

There is a pretty good[0] movie about that. They'll be fine :)

stdint.h defining the fixed width integer is part of C99. I wouldn't call that recent !

Yeah because as everybody knows the steamdeck, which fits exactly your description, was a huge failure.

Thank you for your response. You are right that my phrasing implied a bit too much conspiracy. That was not really my intention, but I was curious to have experts views on those hypothetis.

I am objecting to what you are saying. It's terrible advice and an obtuse vision of the complexity of software nowadays, especially web browser.

Yes, a 3 months old release of chrome is not suited to use day to day. I link all the known and published CVE on chrome, but if you want to nickpick you could "just" check those which start with 2023-*.

Sure. Have fun : https://www.opencve.io/cve?product=chrome&vendor=google

Those are all upstream bugs, not Arch's. That's the trade off when you're running bleeding edge, but you can't blame Archlinux for packaging a buggy application.

They have some benchmark on their github[0].

And that's exactly how the automobile was invented. Look for exemple at Delamarre-Deboutteville's car[0], one of the first.

Even the first argument "no hidden control flow" is disingenuous : either the object you are summing are complex and you have to call a custom function to define what "summing" means in that case (you need to provide the summing function), or those are a primitive type and you're just calling a function builtin the language itself. In every case, you are calling a function ...

Having third party crates in ring 0 is kind of terrifiying when you think about supply chain attacks...

On linux, i like peek[0] quite a lot. Its ui is straighforward, and it can export to gif, webv and mp4. However it's only compatible with X11 as far as i know.

When you want to buy an usb wifi dongle and use, you should always check this awesome guide first[0].

It's up to date, the buying guide is sensible and this repo always has drivers not yet in mainline.

You can also use pycparser[0]. It is fully compatible C99, but be careful it doesn't support gnu extensions (like attributes, #indent, asm() ...). You can however work around most of them by -D defining them to empty macro in the argument.

You have sponsorblock[0] to at least skip the ads and the remainders to "like and share and subscribe". It works really well.

However, youtube premium might be the solution if you want to support your favorites channels without ads.

I love music and as far as I know, I'm not a robot. However, I really dislike live events. Of courses, there are a lot if different set up, but we're talking small gigs in a local place.

I can't describe it other than "sensors overloads" (maybe I am a robot...). Too loud (the sound, but also the crowd). Too many peoples, too crowded. The smell of cheap beer, sweat, smoke... It's simply too much for me. I feel the urge to go far from that place, as quickly as possible.

I know your point was more about "a simple thing to support and enjoy your local artists", but live events are'nt for everybody sadly.

No ! Fat is obviously air, you should breath less instead

The steam deck has a touchscreen thought. So I wouldn't be surprised if those menus were easier to navigate than with a mouse alone ?

I'm surprised TempleOs hasn't been mentionned yet !

While I salute your dedication, reading the article was enough to know actually :

>Intrepid reporter Julia Alexander tried tasting cartridges from the Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita. None of them had any particular taste.

The title is refering this tweet[0]. The OP had a tweet with just the IP adress, and that tweet was DMCA'd.

That sound like HBM2, maybe HBM3 but that would be the first consumer product to include it afaik.

Basically the bus is really large, and the memory dies must be really close to the main processing die. Those memory were notably on the RX Vega from AMD, and before that on the R9 Fury.

I haven't tested it yet, but I recently came across boxedwine[0] which is basically wine + an emulation of the linux syscalls + graphical api forwarded to the host. All that wrapped in SDL.

In french, the verb "formater"[0] can either mean to format (like to format a hdd) or to brainwash.

They must have though the meanings where the same in english.
