I'd think the Gates' foundation would have paid Japan directly avoiding all of the problems you mentioned.
I wouldn't call them rock solid. Even if they were, it's not something that has to, or justifies, mistreating employees.
Right or wrong, I don't think you have to defend that point. The government sets these parameters under which you (or truckers) do business. It's not your responsibility to maintain the highway as long as each truck complies with regulations. And it's not your fault.
American taxpayers subsidise many other things that don't quite make sense (to me), like corn production. You don't see people blame farmers for doing what's best for their farm and family.
I believe all my DNS records look fine, and I have the domain ownership set correctly with GAE. Not sure what else I can change to get it working.
Wonder how exactly that happened, and what damage was caused to the car.
The course in general lacks rigor, but I thought it was a very good first step.
I think this debate is more about how one can define "kind of Trader Joe's" than about how one associated it with the company.
Even though copyright infringement might not have been his intent, intent doesn't matter. That said, this does look like egregious legal bullying even if the case holds water.
IANAL

Personally, I would rank convenience in this descending order: 720p Netflix on Chrome (my browser of choice); 1080p Netflix on a supported browser; piracy.
Maybe for the HN power user demographic the current DRM methodology is pushing users away, but for average joe (many of whom don't even know this is a thing) will happily plug along using Netflix.
My intuition would speculate the recipe works because the dutch oven is a "better" black body than the oven. So the dutch oven acts as a huge heat sink and then more efficiently retransmits by radiation that energy to the bread. As a secondary effect (or maybe this is the primary effect), the dutch oven promotes significantly more heat transfer primarily through conduction to the bread.
For example, I recently read a job posting where "experience with subdomains" was sandwiched between "required 2 years exp with rails" and "postgresql". For people who haven't touched domain configuration, working with subdomains and basic DNS configurations is an absolutely trivial task.
So perhaps the missing requirement is actually something that could be picked up in a matter of minutes and isn't a deal breaker nor relatively important.
Regardless, you should apply.
Currently DO does not charge for network overages. I guess they would suspend your node for going way over the prescribed limits.
I'm not affiliated with DO, but I just really like the service.

But I'd expect if flawless Linux support was actually their goal they'd announce it more prominently, which they did not.

Somehow it has become a platform where fans interact with public figures. You could argue Snapchat is a strong platform as it's gained traction even though the user needs the extraneous (and sometimes difficult) step of finding the username of someone they want to follow.
The article might be clickbait, but it looks pretty good relative to other Buzzfeed "pieces" I've seen before.
