5. Because I need more functionality.
I switched from Windows last month, after installing rectangle, bettertouchtools and speeding up all animations possible, I'm left with the following gripes.
1. No magnetic windows the way windows does unless in the clunky fullscreen mode.
2. No way to turn off animations for maximising windows.
3. No way to let mouseover select window an action is taken in (i keep closing the wrong chrome window using mouse gestures)
4. Finder still sucks (so does no cutting and pasting files)
5. All apps cost money, e.g. ScreenX for windows is free and better than all paid macos options for screenshots.
6. Chrome window resizing seems artificially slow.
Overall windows still feels more productive, but also sucks more in many other ways, such as preinstalling candy crush or its opaque update system.
False. People who don't want to take risk simply don't sideload, most people don't know how to anyways even on android - having the /option/ to do so is not a negative.
Android allows is and there's nearly no malware https://duo.com/decipher/google-data-shows-tiny-fraction-of-...
When a T-cell encounters a foreign pathogen, it extends a vitamin D receptor. A signaling device allowing it to bind to the active form of vitamin D. Only after this can T-cells perform their intended function. [1]
Which is likely why healthy levels > 40 ng/mL significantly reduce COVID mortality, there's been > 2 dozen obersvational studies and at least one randomized controlled one. [2]

They're also paranoid devices which re-enable auto updates by themselves, which is probably against EU law but hey :|
Guess the only option is keeping it off the internet completely.
In other words you need to dopamine detox, sensitize yourself so you still feel rewarded from doing comparably "boring" activities!
Being a true jack of all trades can mean you're mediocre at everything, it's better IMO to specialize on certain skills within different fields - ideally ones that synergize.
It concerns me that your comment is the top voted, as it can lead to dangerous dietary extremism, say avoiding all PUFAs which are among other things implicated in helping the immune system "Paracrine interactions between adipose and lymphoid tissues are enhanced by diets rich in n-6 fatty acids and attentuated by fish oils. The latter improve immune function and body conformation in animals and people. The partitioning of adipose tissue in many depots, some specialised for local, paracrine interactions with other tissues, is a fundamental feature of mammals."https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/15946832/
1. You shouldn't just throw in links to "support" your claims - to me this shows you don't understand what you're talking about, you should cite the relevant text otherwise it's just hand waiving.
The studies you cite are about radicals generated from PUFAs that are naturally a part of cell membranes, not from diet, and even goes against your claim by saying that PUFAs from diet help generate antioxidants that eliminate such radicals.
"Any change in the cell membrane structure activates lipoxygenases (LOX). LOX transform polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) to lipidhydroperoxide molecules (LOOHs)." i.e. cell membranes naturally have PUFAs."..."In order to remove LOO* radicals, plants and algae transform PUFAs to furan fatty acids, which are incorporated after consumption of vegetables into mammalian tissues where they act as excellent scavengers of LOO* and LO* radicals." - hey eating PUFAs help cells make radical scavengers. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17914157/
2. Omega-3 is a polyunsaturated fats - yes they are less stable than SFAs, but that probably does not matter at all unless you're eating rancid oils. Polyunsaturated fats are not "extremely" reactive either whatever you mean by that.
Then we know that diets rich in PUFAs and MUFAs have positive effect on cholesterol ratios "We conclude that a mixed diet rich in monounsaturated fat was as effective as a diet rich in (n-6)polyunsaturated fat in lowering LDL cholesterol. " https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/2761578/
"Hydroxychloroquine has not been associated with significant serum enzyme elevations during therapy of rheumatologic diseases. Furthermore, clinically apparent liver injury from hydroxychloroquine is rare. " https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK548738/
"Despite use for more than 50 years, chloroquine has rarely been linked to serum aminotransferase elevations or to clinically apparent acute liver injury."https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK548224/
South Korea will max end up with a IFR of 0.2-0.5%, 2 to 5 times worse than the flu.
Infected Fatality Rate will likely end up at 0.3% taking the diamond princess cruise ship as a model (this assumes access to quality care and a PCR false negative rate of 29% adjusted for the higher average age on the cruise).
Worst case: 327 million people * 0.6 (a worst case nr) * 0.005 = 981 000 dead.
More likely 30% gets infected, we figure out what treatment options are optimal and we end up with something like 30% infected and a 0.2% IFR = 196 000 dead.
Looked for interventional studies testing whether face masks and eye protection work in humans to protect against airborne viral particles. A critical issue with many such studies is that medical staff only use masks and/or eye protection at work, opening them to being infected outside of work.
Found a small study [1] getting around this problem by exposing subjects (n = 28, avg age 30.5 years) to monodispersed live attenuated influenza vaccine particles by placing them in front of a vibrating-orifice aerosol generator for 20 minutes, subsequently testing for infection using RT-PCR and culture in nasal washes.
Surgical mask: 3M 1818 | N95 mask: 3M 1860/1860S | Eye Protection: Z87 Uvex non-vented

RESULTS

No precautions: 4 out of 4 infected.
Ocular exposure only: 4 out of 4 infected.
Surgical mask only: 5 out of 5 infected.
Surgical mask + eye protection: 5 out of 5 infected.
N95 mask only: 3 out of 5 infected.
N95 mask + eye protection: 1 out of 5 infected.

How to mistreat your allies (Jeff Johnson)
How to mislead your suppliers and almost lose in court.
Do the marketing methods they used, which is perhaps the impressive part, even work today? Do you show up to track meets with shoes from an unknown brand? I don't think so. Do things that don't scale, but not the exact same things that worked decades ago.
After asking around they told me the reason, and after implementing a system that stopped orders to the UK of said product they unfroze the account.
Yes they could have given me a warning and been more transparent, but overall not too mad.
1. Accept you will seemingly need less sleep and go to bed later, use any sleepless time in bed as an opportunity to read and meditate.
2. Be extra careful with sleep hygiene.
3. Use hot then ice cold showers before bed, and possibly sleep aids spanning from 1 mg melatonin to 7.5 mg doxylamine (very safe, but gives you a hangover due to long half-life, maybe not so bad if you feel too wired) to benzodiazepines or hypnotics like ambien (shorter half-lifes, more effective, ideally with assistance from a doctor).
Some argue that sleeping less is a good stress during a fast, but I haven't seen any good evidence to support that.
