Our whole team is on Elevenlabs and a switch is significant work, but I think the results are worth it! Super awesome work!
Not for nothing, Andrej's parents maybe different from mine, but I definitely can't send this to my parents.
Is that a disagreement over an empty seat or a woman getting burned to death. Are those in the same bucket?
Yes, “mentally ill man made me feel uncomfortable” is definitely underreported, but it’s hard to believe murders and assaults are underreported. And if those are down, this is a huge win.
"Yo watch out for that big plane on your left" and then hope for the best.
Before technology there was "McKinsey told me to do this". Abrogation of liability is a tale as old as time.
Charge the creator not the tool. This seemed immediately obvious to me, but apparently not to most layman (including the California AG, apparently).
Example: Cities are being presented a false choice between accepting deadly high speed chases vs zero criminal accountability [1], which in the world of drones seems silly [2]
I don't want the police to have unfettered access to surveil any and all citizens but putting camera access behind a court warrant issued by a civilian elected judge doesn't feel that dystopian to me.
Is that what Ellison was alluding to? I have no idea, but we are no longer in a world where we should disregard this prima facie.

Like selling it for money seems like a clear line crossed, and Etsy is the perfect gatekeeper here.
150 years ago, the average person was illiterate, poorer (in all senses of the word) and less connected to the world around them. Over a 100 year old grind, schooling fixed all that. Why can't it keep going? So the outlier, super special "phenom" today is the median of tomorrow.
What a monumental dissolution in brand. I can only hope its felt quickly enough by Tesla's bottomline so it can a) either be reversed, or b) be an example to future entrepreneurs.
P.S: a) could be accelerated with some demonstrated excellence in Tesla Autopilot, it's possible, that would bring me back.
This would make the main giant aggregate list: https://www.plasticlist.org a lot more useful.

Edit: Turtlbot 3 Burger I suppose? Or Waffle?
Just throwing an idea out there: Instead of re-inventing the proverbial wheeled base, I wonder if it would make sense to build on top of some established wheel bases, like the turtlebot (https://www.turtlebot.com/). And then go ahead and build an array of manipulator/grasper options on top.
It’ll get you an established supply chain (including of replacement parts) and let you focus in on your specialty here: the reconfigurable agentic behavior stack.
It would be a no-brainer for me to jump on this and start building if the base was a turtlebot!
Wait wait wait, plane fuselages don't naturally float? I always assumed they did?
Interesting point, but to OP's point- This wasn't true when Office was first introduced and Office still created a domineering market share. In fact, I'd argue these moat-by-idiosyncracy features are a result of that market share. There is nothing stopping OpenAI from developing their own over time.
Till his dying breath he kept repeating how thankful he was that he lived in a country that didn't force him to live on when he didn't want to.
He was a clear Track 1 case, and I realize Track 2 cases are more complicated, but just wanted to add my story as reporting on MAID spins out of control in our culture war milieu.
In deployment these things are probably going to be on some kind of cart system, I presume all your algorithms can handle small changes in the XY travel plane (i.e. the robots location w.r.t the end of the belt).
"It seems like drivers did not find the feature compelling and were not renewing. Interest in autonomous driving appears to be cooling across the board."
No, because BlueCruise sounds like an asinine feature. To make me pay $2450 more for a car for some arbitrary selection roads for that feature to be available doesn't make sense to me.
Cruise really was on to something, well w/e GM's loss!
BAcK iN mY dAy a room in a house would cost $400-$500/mo in most places in the Montreal-Waterloo corridor. Now runways have basically been halved (0.3x'd?) as an extra allowance to the landed gentry.
