Is that the proper way?
There's a large group of hackernews reader types of people here right now who all socialize here since Covid is non-existent.
You’d feel more comfortable working with the actual criminal than the innocent person who spent 13 years in prison?
What they're doing makes more sense to my intuition. "Mine" (excess) co2 from the atmosphere, using a cleaner source of electricity.
From wikipedia: "A Basic Income would vary with age, but there would be no other conditions: so everyone of the same age would receive the same Basic Income, whatever their gender, employment status, family structure, contribution to society, housing costs, or anything else."
So it's not a small amount of money to do nothing, but just an "extra" small amount of money coming out of either welfare budgets and/or additional taxes.
Learning the functionality of git can really help you out. For example, I almost always use the `-p` flag (particularly `git add -p` which gives me a chance to manually see every change I've made, often I'll find some junk that I may have left somewhere else. Also being familiar with how to rebase series of commits onto and off of other branches can be a huge time saver.
You could say you don't think that is likely to happen, but spending energy to attempt to save more energy down the road isn't a clear mistake– it would just be a failed ambitious attempt to reduce waste.
I'll typically just merge into master on GH, let the CI server take it from there and not bother checking the site manually when the build is complete, it's not necessary. Our QA and CI process handles that.
I consider it a major advantage (benefits far outweigh risk) that I can typically merge my ticket into master, close my laptop and head home.
Then it becomes 1 CO2.

Hopefully this works for the child's benefit, and clearly it's a case of a desperate parent grasping for anything that may help. However, it does sadly have potential to do further harm as well.
Although it seems cannabis is fairly harmless in developed brains– there's some evidence it can interfere with development.
You don't have your 2nd factor device (phone) and someone else has access to it and presumably an email account too? I guess they may still need the device's unlock code (PIN/finger print) to do more serious damage, but it'd be rough if you're trying to change your passwords, but can't because you are out your 2FA device. All the while the attacker is able to reset your accounts/passwords.
Worked as a great lo-fi solution for me, since you can just have all the support team download the Trello app and they'll get a push notification whenever something comes in.
They're even letting people install it from source so you get it before it gets on the app store: https://justgetflux.com/sideload/
For example if using "slave/master" terminology becomes widely accepted as insensitive, in the future someone may look through my twitter history or something and find that I had used that term, even though at the time of writing no one had considered that term insensitive.
However, don't get pressured into doing something you're not comfortable doing. If you morally want to do something, but only feel comfortable doing it anonymously just stick to that. And if the law firm doesn't see any benefit from your anonymous reporting then I would recommend to just leave it at that.
