It actually helps to just forget about relativity for a moment, and think about the angles light from distant objects will have to take to intercept you. Then it becomes more clear.
Also, relativistic motion doesn't appear to affect the movements of the other actors, though it's kind of hard to tell for certain.
They don't now.
(Oh, and sociopaths aren't very great at manipulating their environment. The high-functioning ones, maybe, but most sociopaths are poor, stupid, and often in jail.)
I'm pretty sure if I tried to copy ImprovedSilence's habits now, I would die. I know I would wish for it :-)
I think any assault on Bitcoin would have a lot more in common with the tactics of the copyright cartels, than this. The decentralized nature of peer-to-peer sharing and Bitcoin is more relevant than the fact that the Liberty Dollar and Bitcoin are both 'currencies' depending on who you talk to. Numerous lawsuits, harsh penalties bordering on unconstitutional (not that it really matters), and selective media exposure of same.
If you're comparing touchscreens on the desktop with mice on the desktop, this is certainly true. But touchscreen input on a tablet device holds up pretty well against a mouse on a desktop. Maybe beats it.
a) I don't really care about. I doubt much has changed and I don't think it was from fiscal necessity. Also, if they were shell-shocked in 2006 I can't imagine things have improved since then. It's actually disappointing as I rather admire IBM's leadership in open source. Alas, much easier to damage a reputation than build and keep a good one.
As for b), okay point taken. So, don't work at IBM, if you can help it.

I'm not one to normally subscribe to the 'if you don't like the working conditions don't work there' line of reasoning, especially in the US where unions are so weak. But in tech, eh, we have options.
I do find it sad that someone can make it to their late thirties and still be this clueless, though.
My advice is to perhaps reconsider your approach to your romantic life. Confusing Github with a dating service is kind of an obvious clue, but perhaps it's not so obvious to the person so confused. Also, this list is too long. Condense it down to, at most, three must-haves, and then judge case-by-case from there.
Surely this is not correct.
Oh, and by the way, you don't have to play multiplayer.
