Thank you. I've added it to my reading list.
It doesn't matter how good you are, even if you find another job in today's market, you will have to take a haircut.
Just join Mastodon. Start by using someone else's instance [1] and then learn how to run your own. It's not hard.
He's the second biggest donor to the Democratic Party. He has a lot of political cover.
>Swift topped a list of celebrities, with 170 flights emitting 8,293 metric tons of greenhouse gases.
If you scroll through these tweets you will see celebs taking 10 min flights several times a day. Yet these people have no qualms telling others to curtail their CO2 emissions, eat less beef and host of other hypocritical nonsense.

>What’s going to happen with this new solution? Most likely, someone’s going to find a problem with it, and everyone will continue working on their own solution. Indeed, there’s a good chance that by the time this video appears this has already happened. For me, the real paradox is why they keep doing it. I guess they do it because they have been told so often this is a big problem that they believe if they solve it they’ll be considered geniuses. But of course their colleagues will never agree that they solved the problem to begin with. So by all chances, half a year from now you’ll see another headline claiming that the problem has been solved.
>And that’s why I stopped working on the black hole information loss paradox. Not because it’s unsolvable. But because you can’t solve this problem with mathematics alone, and experiments are not possible, not now and probably not in the next 10000 years.

That's because there's no DMCA law there and they're not taking down thousands upon thousands of pages like Google is forced to do every day. [1]
Is that a Windows feature? I've only ever used macOS and GNU/Linux so never got used to that. I just did a quick search on their Github Issues page and didn't see it requested. You can file a request here: https://github.com/linuxmint/nemo/issues
Well, often this is not easy. I've tried to audit some extensions recently but a vast majority of non-open-source extensions are minified and heavily obfuscated. Unless you invest a lot of time, it's not easy to audit the code these days.
>The United States printed more money in June than in the first two centuries after its founding. Last month the U.S. budget deficit — $864 billion — was larger than the total debt incurred from 1776 through the end of 1979.
and this is a good graph of our money supply (M1) [2]
The inflation is here to stay. And it will only get worse. Fed's recent 25-basis point rate hike won't do anything to curtail the inflation.
