uninformed··on Reddit CEO says company is 'not negotiating' on 3rd-party app charges
I've been thinking about revamping and bringing back mailing lists but I'm still thinking through the obstacles. Does anyone else have any thoughts?
uninformed··on Alphabet selling Google Domains assets to Squarespace
Microsoft kills products that were dead anyway. Google hypes you up, cuddles you, tells you that you're the best and then pushes you off the cliff when you're not looking because you farted in bed the other night.
uninformed··on Reddit going dark in protest at API pricing; Apple cut Twitter ad spend
I have a feeling that Reddit will make all the wrong decisions in reaction to this.
uninformed··on Why your smartphone is causing you ‘text neck’ syndrome (2019)
This is why VR is a necessity and not a dream. We have evolved to stand straight. It'll be easier to build on top of that adaptation instead of trying to go against it.
uninformed··on US military drone controlled by AI "killed" its operator during simulated test
This article gave me a good laugh. Just proves how much AI is subservient to our will. We just have to be really clear about what we mean. I expect everyone's communication skills to shoot up this century.
uninformed··on Facebook and Instagram owner Meta threatens to cut off news in California
These people seem like they would have taxed smartphone companies so they can keep payphones alive. What is wrong with government in California? I don't understand how they can come to these conclusions after a lot of deliberation. It almost seems to me like they are only trying to find ways to line their pockets and then leave.

Where does the trash come from?
uninformed··on The Never Married, a New Normal
Do you have an alternative in mind?
uninformed··on 47% of all internet traffic came from bots in 2022?
With the growth of AI, I wouldn't be surprised if it'll be 99% from bots one day.
uninformed··on Ask HN: What are those strategic skills to master for the next 5, 10 years?
Please explain :)
uninformed··on Sergey Brin: Irate Call from Steve Jobs

uninformed··on German police arrest 25 suspects in plot to overthrow state
Whoa, executing them might make them bigger heros in the eyes of their supporters aswell as make the government look like a bigger oppressor. Just ignore the shit out of them like a toddler throwing a tantrum while making sure that they don't hurt themselves or those near them.
uninformed··on The search for the purpose of T. rex's arms
Maybe they're small wings to help T man get a little bit of air.
uninformed··on HypeScript: Simplified TypeScript type system in TypeScript's own type system
Yo dawg, I heard you like Typescript ... you know the rest.
uninformed··on Lucid recalls all of its 2022 Air EVs
From what I understand, the very end goal is not to make money off of the hardware but the services that the hardware will provide. Existing OEMs are not easy to work with, especially if you're trying to get them to install your app in their car. I like to think of it like the smart phone hardware/software revolution that happened after the first iPhone came out. Tesla is like Apple and I hope Lucid will become like Android. The pre-EV era OEMs are like Nokia, Blackberry, etc...
uninformed··on Lucid recalls all of its 2022 Air EVs
This actually gives me a lot of confidence in Lucid!

They estimate that only 1% of vehicles are affected and they initiated the recall before anyone got hurt. Other Auto OEMs would have likely ignored the issue and moved on.
