No need to get upset, move along.
I guess the UK Pirate Party is in need of more members who care about these issues?
Not sure how this ties in with that, but it seems several companies are also self-regulating by imposing a spending-limit based on the customers age[2].

Some prefer stuff like keepass that let's them store everything - i'm happier to rely on an algorithm.
Key point is to make using different passwords in different places really simple, so that people do it.
When the game released, all the sales revenue went to the parent company and the only ones receiving bonuses were the two founders.
Edit: In the comments on the post there's a bit more information, not sure if the slides were ever updated:

Appreciate the comments on the data. I'll update this presentation so that the data sources are more clearly presented. Currently, many (though not all) of the numbers are in the reference articles (but that seems to be hard to parse)

I'd really like to see that project. Time to stop procrastinating, I guess :)
Edit: This kind of system would also facilitate having multiple inputs/outputs and typed data - stuff that's fairly complex to get right in the actual commandline.
Far too many people in management don't get, or just choose to ignore, that.
I think I've already left a comment on a similar thread about leading a team through crunch with one of the devs still doing 6 hour days. Some more time has passed and I have to say even when the rest of the team are doing 8 hour days it still feels like there's a difference in focus, intuition and problem-solving.
Of course all that is highly subjective, but it made me think about how to measure the.. craftsmanship? Anyway, intuitively it feels like having a few more hours away from the office would give us some more time to subconciously process the problems and tasks at hand, and when we come back to work we're better prepared for it.
It can't be impossible to conduct some kind of test on this, can it?
If you like reading graphic novels, read the Sandman series.
If you like reading books, read American Gods.
If you have kids, read them Coraline.
The most important takeaway from a face-to-face interview for me has always been to gauge a candidates general problem solving ability. When developing, you'll constantly be solving problems that are new to you, in areas you may not be familiar with.
