Sodium nitrite is used as a preservative in deli meats and generally thought to be bad for our health. It doesn't matter if it is mineral or plant derived.
I've thought about adding support for remembering devices but using the token is so easy it's just not a priority.
It's in need of some help so I've been looking around for inspiration. I'll be taking a look at everything posted. Some I've found previously I like:

- The focus seems to be largely on the software but if you're targeting mass consumers, and the kitchen, the case could be important as well.
- 32 GB isn't really that much space when thinking in terms of photos. Do you have any thoughts on how a user might migrate to a larger card?
Think of it as: MWh/year = MWh/h x 365 x 24 x CF
Investigating further Accelerando was published after Snow Crash by a fair margin.

You might also want to think about relying a little less on javascript. Try turning it off in your browser and see what you get. For me it was completely unusable and rather ugly.
random.randint(a, b) returns a uniformly distributed int value between a (inclusive) and b (inclusive).

I clicked on the "Switch from Delicious?" button expecting to be able to authenticate with delicious and get going straight away. For sign-up is the CAPTCHA really necessary? If I understand your service correctly there is relatively little advantage to be gained by signing up multiple spam accounts and the presence of the CAPTCHA will reduce legitimate sign-ups.
A few years ago a similar statement could have been made about Myspace or friendster a few years before that. Would you be willing to make such a statement about either company today?
Would you have been willing to make such a statement about geocities 5 years ago?
There is less air friction if your tunnel is maintained at vacuum.
It requires a login though.
Requires you to sign up to issuu or sign in via facebook connect but I was able to get a pdf.
On http://www.crowdbeacon.com/how-works.aspx the video was a little slow to load so for a while it looked like a blank page above the fold.
Some of your FAQs don't sit well with me:
Why did you start Crowdbeacon? Consider ditching, "Also, because the future of life as we know it is rapidly becoming mobile and we wanted to make our mark early in the game." It comes across as a long-winded way of saying "this is a me too startup" rather than focusing on your USP.
How do you make money? Comes across very much as a non-answer. I suggest you remove this one entirely.
