I have an nice programmable EDID emulator plug, and I can clone my monitor and others, but there's some times there's a specific resolution or feature I want to set and I don't have a way to. (Like 8K with DSC, etc)
I'm aware of https://github.com/bsdhw/EDID but it's rather limited in terms of modern monitors.
I've also written by own using https://www.analogway.com/products/aw-edid-editor but getting all the nuances of various modes, and setting preference order, etc, is rather difficult, at least for me :)
In this case, DOGE confused 8M for 8B. That's 3 orders of magnitude of difference.
I don't see how having payments labeled differently would change that. Can you clarify what you're implying the problem was here?
Pfsense/opensense is easier when you have complicated routing needs, like multiple vlans with various split tunnels, etc.
It’s not 100% accurate, but imo if you want a short-hand you could say tomato is WiFi focused with routing support, and opensense is routing focused with WiFi support.
Feel free to disregard, but it would help me understand if you briefly explain how this fits in with / compares to existing tools like argocd.
I watched your video and I saw that argo was one of the tools you were installing, so clearly this is occupying a different niche - But I'm not sure what that is yet :)
I don’t have/want to cybertruck, but I wonder if it would stop properly if you were to have something at the bottom blocking it.
It seems like such a strange comment- surely there is a gulf of difference between a commercial robot that will be interacted with by a few trained factory workers and something which is sold to everyday people and on public streets right?
Can you elaborate more on the comparison you’re trying to draw?
I am trying to take it in good faith, but I’m genuinely at a loss trying to understand what you’re going for.
That link is for sending it back to Apple for warranty service.
My point was that as far as I can tell, they aren’t expecting you to swap battery packs or change anything that uses that cable.
They don’t sell extra batteries so it’s not like they’re trying to upsell on a proprietary connector.
Anyway, I do agree that it would be better if it used a regular USB connection — and better still if it didn’t need an external battery pack at all.
In the last year, I also picked up a treadmill, and new NAS device, and some camera equipment.
My total spend for the year was somewhat embarrassingly high, but well over 7K.
They’re not trying to force a new connector on anyone - they don’t even sell anything that uses it that part.
It’s the way one proprietary part talks to another proprietary part.
If you want to charge the system through USB-C, it has a port for that on the battery pack.
If you have an Amazon Prime Visa credit card, you get 5% cashback on purchases if you have Amazon Prime, and 3% cashback if you don't.
If you regularly buy a few high-ticket items a year on amazon, that 2% difference will cover the price of prime.
Their documentation may provide more current details than I can though.

This is the point where I've realized I just have to wait until history is written, rather than trying to follow this in real time.
The situation is too convoluted, and too many people are playing the media to try to advance their version of the narrative.
When there is enough distance from the situation for a proper historical retrospective to be written, I look forward to getting a better view of what actually happened.
I'm not familiar with the situation, but reading through https://blog.zimbra.com/2020/05/is-zimbra-open-source-yes-fa... suggests that they do still provide source for at least some portions of 9.x, but they no longer provide binaries or packages.
It looks like some components may be missing ("Modern UI"), but I don't know if it's usable without them.
I don't live in a city, and would have to drive over an hour to the nearest concierge practice.
It's really difficult to tell what percentage of people that applies to, but just for one example I got from Google, The Tax Policy Center estimates that 70 Million Americans do not need to pay income tax.

I appreciate where you are coming from - It seems like you're saying it's not that far from existing common practices.
But if people find something distasteful and think it's a bad idea, how close it is to other things isn't really relevant. Maybe those should be banned/fixed too, maybe not.
But if people dislike something or find it "yucky", it's fair for them to raise objections.
That used to be the case but the plug-in hybrids like the RAV4 prime and the Prius prime can be driven entirely in EV mode.
For most people, 40 miles of EV range is going to cover 95% of their trips.
I think that's part of Reddit's problem - They can replace the mods with random people if they want, but the likelihood that those people will put in the work and do a good job is not high.
What's interesting is that Reddit isn't really a single community - Each individual subreddit has it's own moderators, editorial voice, group of people, etc. They can each move independently.
For example, /r/startrek and the related startrek websites have all moved to https://startrek.website
This federates with Lemmy, kbin, etc - So if a user posts to startrek.website it shows up everyone else's servers, and people can reply from whatever federated site they use
I used it extensively back in the day and it was remarkably solid. https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/bcache
