Shouldichangemypassword.com sent me an email a few weeks ago saying my email address was found in a leaked database, although they couldn't say which one. Considering I have more than 100 accounts which use that particular email address, it didn't help at all. This site did!
>A. Your Coin account is password protected and the mobile app requires that you type in your password before you can access sensitive card details.
There is no way in hell I would trust a single password to protect all of my debit, credit, loyalty, or gift cards.

You can think of the Coinbase app as a contact book that attaches a name and face to a bitcoin address. This is exclusive to the Coinbase servers. No one else but you can see the identities of the people you have transacted with, only the addresses and amounts.
The only problem here is that coffee is a commodity, not a startup. Anyone can grow it and sell it. Likewise, bitcoins can be mined and sold by anyone. Bitcoin by design is decentralized, meaning that there is no central authority, such as a bank, mining new bitcoins. There is no company or government body that officially runs Bitcoin, only individuals (but in a distributed fashion). A startup is completely different, in that it has a governing body and is usually centralized.
Bitcoin in a sense is both a currency and a commodity, but is definitely not a startup.
