I viscerally understand how companies can get stuck and unable to change their products significantly because their installed base will revolt. It's a tough situation.
How about, "has still not _decided_ to land a single person on the Moon."
Dragon's Lair was beautifully animated, innovative, and absolutely not for me. I'm not sure if it's a game, to be honest. :) It's fun to look back at old tech, seeing the ideas that didn't quite land.
Also see SGI for auto insurance and SaskTel. We pay less for better service than anywhere else in Canada.
Why does Prince (or Björk or Bowie) do anything? Only they know.

Also, go check out the Grand Poo World III videos. Absolutely peak Mario.
Luckily the indie developers (and even teams within Square Enix) have taken up the mantle. Chained Echoes, Sea of Stars, the Star Ocean Remake, the Tactics Ogre remake, Crosscode, the Seiken Densetu 3 remake, Live A Live, SaGa Frontier 3, the Octopath Traveler games - they're quite good, and that's just in the last few years! Maybe not to everyone's taste, but they are well made games and there's no shortage of good stuff to play.

(The scuffed paper and cross-stitch filters are very good too.)
Do those iOS call blocker apps like RoboShield work? I'm not sure which conference sold me out (all of them) but I get 5+ calls a day of nonsense and I'm getting tired of it.
Many of my friends have moved to bigger cities and we'll try to get together when they're in town. Inevitably the conversation turns to, "how are your parents doing?" and often it's not good news. People used to come home for fun, but now it's usually because something bad happened.
On another post I mentioned my parents' policy of, "if I didn't call you, I don't want it" and I am thankful every day for the problems we don't have.
He's been a high school teacher ever since.
It's worth noting that because the authors (Fred Ford and Paul Reiche) are such great people, the game has been freely available for a long time now.
Seems like a life lesson that can be applied generally.
Credit where credit's due, the NHL has some really great jerseys going on right now.
I think jq brings a lot of that cool awk mentality forward. I'm consistently impressed by all of the neat things it can do.
