Not following this. Isn't a k8s cluster behind a network firewall? Only exposing 443? To me RBAC would be useful in a specific case where you want k8 service accounts (no one uses these) to have different levels of security. That sounds awful.

I was so pissed by this I created a way to find experts. People that actually studied the issue, have actual publish papers on the topic. What I found was no one cared. No one wanted "experts" - they want a specialist that is in their network and close.
Example of searching for mohs surgury. https://www.opendoctor.io/research/?research_papers=mohs&zip...

This could be the entire problem. These are specialized fields. They are being treated like they are not.
Yes. Devops people come from a SWE background generally + they understand infra. They usually have 10+ years experience. Most specialties work this way in software: security, devops, AI, ML, ... etc. You need to be a SWE first, then specialize.
CockroachDB you have two options both equally horrible. Pay for a hosted solution or run your own. I would pick hosting my own, but that would be some work.
I have seen videos of people cruising other companies jenkins dashboards. It's is horrifying, people put all kinds of keys into jenkins. Thousands of companies are rooted. Jenkins makes Wordpress look like modern secure software.

This is the only game me and my son(7) play together. It amazing for little kids. They learn history, building resources, building alliances, and destroying the dad empire.
I wish it was possible to play online multiplayer :(. Unfortunately, the people that play online are pretty elitist. Just reject your offers to play, setup the game for you to lose on join, etc etc. The multiplayer "collect resources" is not very fun - it would be awesome to start with 50k each and just create an awesome battle. I don't want to spend 2 hours collecting fake trees - only to have the opponent destroy me in 2 seconds. You can't do any strategy since you will never get to the stages where that matters.
Oh no. The complete opposite. I lived in SF 15 years, worked and talked to the homeless dozens of times. 99% [not mentally handicapped] are addicted to fentanyl, destroyed all their relationships, and are slowly dying. Trying to justify it as "freedom" is a bizarre comment. They tend to have ZERO freedom, trying to score another fix, in an endless loop - they have NO ability to do anything else. People in prison have more freedom IMHO. They need detox now.
Exactly. Being homeless is different than camping. One is a mental hell hole of despair. The other is fishing and laughing with friends.
Rent to high? No problem, make increasing rent illegal. Got a homeless problem? Make it illegal to be homeless. Don't like changing your power cord? No problem: illegal. All these ideas would be like playing chess with the ability to only think one move ahead. It would be like having a 12 year old king pronounce today is ice cream day [all while facing certain thermonuclear war].
Young jedi. You mail this AFTER 30 days and get the money.
However, the SF policy that was truly evil to the poor was randomized school selection. Tell a poor kid in western addition they need to go to school in pacific heights. Tell the pacific heights kids they need to go to school in western addition. So what happens? The poor kids miss school (a lot) since their parents are working crappy jobs for rich people and can't do bus commutes each day. The pacific heights parents just enroll in private school. So tons of schools in SF just close. Awesome work SF. I am confident if you do the exact opposite in all SF policies you would have a great city.
What happens is the ridiculous return of the sp500.
