q87b··on Adam? ... is there a reason your laptop is in the fridge? (2006)
> I came across the drive again while fetching some peas from the freezer a few weeks later. Gave it another try, and lo and behold, it worked!

q87b··on DJI Mini 4 Pro
At least then you know that you are being watched and recorded by some creep with a drone. It is disturbing how society tolerates these pretty-secret surveillance devices just because they can take videos that look like those documentaries on TV, yay...
q87b··on DJI Mini 4 Pro
From a human's perspective maybe, from bird's though, not.

q87b··on Tesla buys German railway line, now hosting passenger trains
> Tesla built a train station at the end of its new short line *specifically to serve its new Gigafactory outside Berlin.*

Emphasis mine.

I was worried but this seems quite irrelevant to the German passenger landscape. Phew!

Warning, the reaction to massive security issues in a bundled PDF reader of the file manager made me uninstall all of these apps. Safety of my device and data is paramount.

https://github.com/SimpleMobileTools/Simple-File-Manager/iss... where the developer shows no grasp of security "what can happen to an app without internet access?"

A "simple" file manager should not come with a PDF reader.

q87b··on Keith Haring’s Computer Drawings
"Hitting the block" = "Keith Haring’s Never-Before-Seen Computer Drawings Are Hitting the Block as NFTs at a New Christie’s Online Auction"

I can't believe NFTs are still a thing, I thought the bubble rightfully burst months ago?

q87b··on Temptations of an open-source Chrome extension developer (2021)
The post I replied to clearly equals value with money.
q87b··on Temptations of an open-source Chrome extension developer (2021)
Why would money be the only value, that is a really sad view on life. The developer gets joy and gratitude, they can live a happy life. Why bring money into it. Money does not make happy.

Interviewer: "What would you ask the AGI"

Musk nervously stares around in his view, not focusing but like a person pretending to think hard to prepare a lie. Licks his lips. Seemingly distressed by the question or his immediate answer. Says

q87b··on Twitter has officially changed its logo to ‘X’
Did you not notice the huge increase in abuse against green, tolerant or otherwise progressive people (fascists like to call them "woke")?
q87b··on Twitter has officially changed its logo to ‘X’
Musk might very well be just a useful idiot to kill a platform that was globally connecting people for positive, political change. Twitter played crucial roles in bringing down Mubarak in Egypt, in the Euromaidan and elsewhere.

40 billion dollars is just two years of Gazprom profits.

q87b··on ‘It’s the Wild West’: Vienna’s spying problem spins out of control
And where is the alleged connection to the CIA there?

The quote you pulled from the first(!) Secretary General of NATO is from 80 years ago. At the time it was said, 80 years ago was 1870, shortly after the American Civil War, just to give some perspective.
