Basically your phone is not only practically, but technically, just a remote.
I already knew the new xbox would be the next gaming console. It seems like they went for the non-obvious, and wanted to talk about the other features. The games are going to be the draw for gamers, and I'm sure those will be just fine.
It's a hard problem because anything real world like a identifying number is flawed for anonymity. There needs to be a unique identifier for a web entity.
It's always annoyed me that solutions like persona etc are approaching this by simply replacing email, when shouldn't they be abstracting my online identity? I hold several "personas" throughout various sites, email addresses, and applications. However, I don't want a product that simply merges them, I want a product that is more of a "meta-persona", that lets me easily track, manage, and expand them.

That's not too far off of layman's terms of what is happening when they logon albeit just not as slow.
If it provides a layperson the same sense of trust that a technical person would feel if they listed the technical terms, isn't this an accurate demonstration?

(You can see it by shrinking the window all the way down until it gets a scroll)
I'm often left confuddled at these spikes as I won't have anything open I would consider requires much bandwith. Also, even though I would have high latency, opening a browser and navigating through sites would work as smoothly as ever.
Now I know to look at spotify specifically and I would not be very surprised if my spikes of bad internet activity are a result of spotify leeching my upload.
While I think it makes sense for spotify to use p2p in their system, I would have thought there would have been an indication of it in the options with an option to disable such services.
