However, some thoughts that did occur to me along the lines of cleaning the air and water that we each consume, as well as carbon sequestration. Much in the same spirit that someone launches other local public goods (tor node, public wifi, etc.), perhaps a generous neighbor/employer decides to undo all of the carbon or water pollution, or air pollution that they've ever created--thereby creating a "blast radius" of positive effects around their cleaning apparatus. Such technologies currently exist, but are energy intensive.
PS- 1. The premise of the hack is interesting--bad money gets spent first, good gets saved; though ironically the bad is less valuable if you spend it today (discount)-- 2. I like the goals of basic income. Thanks for experimenting with it and starting a conversation.
Dyslexia is the result of a significant weakness in the phonological processing system, or how a person's brain understands and can use the sound-based reading "code". A dyslexic reader has difficulty cracking that code.
Here are some important facts about dyslexia:
Dyslexia is based in how a person's brain functions. The brain structure is normal - the glitch is in the wiring. Fluent readers use a part of the brain for reading that dyslexic readers do not use. This means that reading remains a slow, laborious process for children and adults with dyslexia.
Dyslexia is not related to a person's level of intelligence. Many children and adults with dyslexia are gifted, highly accomplished, creative people.
It cost them more than that to make the decision and the press release.
