Surprising how when a protonmail account is deleted the British Police lose records.

https://twitter.com/brokenbottleboy/status/1654887076305817600?t=P3nzerFOCWnkXk_6d9TtFQ&s=19

The british state, the police, the nhs still use suicide to cover up the murder of people who have been abused by employees of the state.

There isnt a day that goes by where I dont want to end my life in a way where I dont suffer, I wont use the word humane, because if life in the UK is considered humane, then to be human is to torture. Just for the record!

The Nazi's get hauled over the coals for their torture, the british dont because its better to split everyone up and torture them individually and its still going on today.

Hogeweyk is modelled after uk villages which are basically prisons for those who have no money, no identification, no transport, 24/7 surveillance, all legislated for by successive govt's, local councils and parish councils, and many will be quick to remind me the room I spend all my waking hours in, an intellectual form of solitary confinement, is smaller than a prison cell!

God save the King. What a facist regime...

I've seen Police plant drugs in an attempt to frame someone, initimdate and harrass people and then fine people, I've seen NHS nurses try to stab people multiple times, throw toddlers across a room and shake them vicously, I've seen HMRC Tax inspectors strangle people and pass off as coppers to fuck them over, carry out VAT fraud and defraud people, I've seen military commit a variety of crimes on people including kids, I've seen politicians threaten people, I've seen primary and secondary school teachers abuse kids, I've seen GP's abusing people. All of these peoples are still walking free.

The uk is probably one of the few countries still pulling off Hitler's große Lüge!

Go on reddit, select different regions including Everywhere and find the posts on the front page are all the same whatever the region selected. /r/ThereWasAnAttempt

MDR Hookworm, the highly zoonotic stealth biological weapon used to control the public through experts giving out bad advice. # Its surprisingly easy holding someone prisoner in the UK as good as dam it in solitary confinement especially when the govt decides to do it. Its enough to drive you to suicide and I've tried 3 times. Even the GP told me how to do it with paracetamol and alcohol. As Gerald Ratner proved, people want to believe in fairy tales which is why a Govt and their employees can do what the fuck they want!

The worst pedo's and child abusers are parents working for the govt, with masonic friends in the police, nhs and education system. Well connected Govt employees get to cover up so much shit!

I used to tell hyacinth bucket I'd choose her nursing home thinking she'd go to prison, now I know that wont happen. Criminals run the UK.

Life in the UK where I cant even get a Rpi webserver up to tell the world about the child abusing pedo's walking free because they are govt employees.

Even this website https://web.archive.org/web/19990427221438/http://www.rose-associates.demon.co.uk/ which I put up for a relative only has the front page now after the original paperwork was destroyed, the only copy being in my possession and thats when the govt got the archive removed. Even the wayback machine wont answer my emails asking why its been taking down!

Jimmy Saville and Prince Andrew are the tips of the iceberg!

The sexism in society is on display with people protesting about Sarah Everard, if its a bloke tough shit got to suck it up!

What amazes me is how many people take it upon themselves to hassle and intimidate victims of their govt child abusing pedo's, thats why I can say govt, police and nhs cover up their colleagues crimes by labling people as suicide victims.

The BBC demonstrate their hacking abilities with their Micro:bit

Its torture living in the UK, cant get off this overcrowded island, but it would be bliss to simply escape who I have to live with! Cant do that with money and cant get a job, ended up apply for jobs in indeed.com that had been filled 3 years ago. A masonic reference, much like the 3 military personel who turned up on holiday and reminded me the govt is in charge. Havent been on holiday for a number of years now as a result of the employees of the state to be in charge. Dare not leave the house now. 24/7 surveillance.

Ways to spot abusive mothers, they push their kids into the military to get them killed, fortunately I resisted but not before the military knew enough about me.

Thats why I told Liz Truss I never thought I'd get radicalised living here in Weeting. Its a fucking wonder I havent ended up in jail yet for murder!

My abuse started, or rather what I can remember of it, was when I was first taught to write. I picked up the pen with my left hand and mother freaked out. Taught me to write with my right hand.

Other forms of abuse, when not feeling well being force fed, then throwing up that food before even getting down from the table and then being beaten up for throwing up the food because money doesnt grow on trees. Cant prove any of this because I was the first born on my own living in the middle of nowhere. Through out my childhood, my evening meals often tasted of washing up liquid, was I being poisoned or was it the residue from people not rinsing the dishes? Couldnt complain because I'd get beaten up. Kids should be seen and not heard.

I often think an autism diagnosis is a politically correct way of hiding childhood trauma so bad victims dont remember the events.

Still the govt looks after its own, been told numerous times.

The fact that companies are now starting to spot intrusions into their systems and identify the data, devices and configurations being targeted is a step in the right direction. moremetadata··on Ask HN: Best approach for manual data fixes in db?
> Is this the norm?

I'd say no if you were to treat your data with the same requirements as accountancy systems, like double entry bookkeeping accountancy systems.

So accountancy systems and thus your app would let you make changes to data that forces the reason for change to be documented, but either way its documented using the app, so that when looking back, just like accountants and auditors know why a change has occurred when doing year end or quarterly reports, you can also do the same. It also helps you highlight devs not cutting the mustard and it also highlights any potential fraud occurring inside the business with staff gaming the system.

I'd never allow any direct change to the db, but then my apps would also be encrypting data making it near impossible to perform changes to a db, other than messing around with the unencrypted data in index fields, which forces hackers to acquire the app and reverse engineer it, and then they have to understand the obfuscation built into the apps besides the obfuscation built into the db, but this approach makes rebuilding corrupted db indexes easier should they ever occur.

I know some people prefer having all the logic in the backend, but its about balancing the logic between the backend and the front end, ie spreading risk to make hackers jobs harder.

> This also seems like it could bring compliance issues.

This approach (making and documenting changes from within the app(s)) would meet all compliance and ISO standards.

> NSA’s public warning was too vague to serve as a real heads-up

And here is the thing, the NSA as part of the 5eyes+X (5EX) group are actively demonstrating their own hacking activities on their own companies and allies companies, but can only admit to giving out a vague warning.

The state wants tech security to be a Schrödinger's cat, where its secure against enemies but insecure to them.

Now I know enough about physics that it aint gonna happen!

And its because of Schrödinger's Cyber Cat, that demonstrates the criminality in law enforcement and the judiciary.

Now even the military, who are traditionally secretive and dont declare when they have been hacked, for fear of losing the public's confidence are in a dilemma.

Do they start admitting when they have been hacked, or do they continue to keep it quiet because currently they can and try to isolate disclosures, knowing that as tech advances, the game of whack a mole ends up spilling over into territory they dont control, or the public lose confidence with design flaws of equipment?

> Some guests received security clearances for the day

Another example of the surveillance on the population across multiple countries, which further reinforces my point, that employees of the state do target their own citizens and some of those will be primary school age kids in a premptive manner.

> I think when you buy a device, you own it and should be able to do whatever you want with it (unless it's harming others)

Would that include cars and other devices which need insurance, to reduce the risk of harm?

Likewise whilst you could drive into a group of people and harm them, I guess you are unable to quantify the harm of your words or other people's words when communicating using devices.

You see many vulnerable people getting exploited into a variety of activities like religious terrorism, inceldom or working for the state. All of these claim to be for higher purposes, but the harm it causes is not always recognised.

Maybe if Apple and others explained what can and cant be done with their products it wouldn't be so much a case of Buyer Beware.

> Entrapment is a practice in which a law enforcement agent or agent of the state induces a person to commit a "crime"

So you think the state gives the population a good education, especially in law then?

There is a saying which backs up my position, "no knowledge of the law is no defense of the law". Its a UK cultural saying, the sort of things intellectual criminals would come up with.

When considering politicians, education and law enforcement are all agents of the state, it reinforces my position solidly, except for the criminals of the state who play dumb because their jobs would be on the line!

moremetadata··on Ask HN: What Is a Honey Pot?

But Honeypots can also also be viewed as forms of entrapment, and this can bring much of the internet when viewed as a honeypot into the context of entrapment and in some country's entrapment is illegal, ergo has the state prosecuted some people whilst ignoring the entrapment element?

Yes that jump in intellectual prowess shows an intelligence can adapt in order to game the system that awards the grades.

Its a bit like looking for the ultra heavy suitcases at an airport check in because its loaded with kilos of cocaine and thus weighs considerably more than your average travellers clothes. Meta data comes in all shapes and sizes!

So are teaching staff demanding pay rises to cope with the extra work load, because ChatGPT can work with the latest global scientific discoveries faster than the ideas can filter out to the educational systems, their curriculum and textbooks?

It will be interesting to see if anyone gets marked down for using the latest knowledge and opinion because the teachers and examiners are out of date.

If its not obvious, AI could take on, the entire scientific community, something the legal system will have to deal with, because currently the judiciary can pick and choose their scientific "committee" of experts and rig court cases however they like.

But it looks like the educational system is having its Watergate moment.

Nano bone and teeth mineral aka nano hydroxyapatite, why would that be banned?

Nanomaterials in cosmetics, although the use of nano tubes to deliver medicine is like a basic step towards making food in the same sense as lab grown meat could deliver custom ratios of amino acids and other chemicals which wouldnt be found in the normal animal.

moremetadata··on Ask HN: Why can't software run on distributed systems?
Alot of software is written for single instance data, thats the way IT has evolved, so whilst clusters are in their infancy, the market perhaps hasnt evolved enough to recognise their benefits, and the laws would need to be upgraded to be consistent across borders.

But you do already see instances like this, like window machines distributing updates to other local window machines. A great way for MS to offload its bandwidth costs onto users, whilst saving itself a packet or two.

So maybe the market has recognised the virtues of distributed systems, but they are not how you envisage them to be?

>All told it would protect our freedom of thought and rumination, mental privacy, and self-determination over our brains and mental experiences.

You cant protect mental privacy because you body gives this data out consciously and subconsciously.

Self determination over our brains and mental experiences is like saying social media and search engines cant show you what you dont want to see, its a catch 22 situation. The same thing happens in life, like the victims of the Manchester Arena bombing found out as they didnt want to be bombed and have to experience that either.

At best, I think the state could teach people coping mechanisms in order to help rationalise and understand why these things happen, which to a greater extent is how life and society is supposed to work anyway, if you have good people around you, but then we'd be putting an entire psychotherapist industry out of business.

If you dont have good people around you though, then society and the state including the legal system has already consigned you to the history books of failures sometimes even before you have reached adulthood and there are some who like to profit from failure and fear, quite literary and literally.

One thing is for certain, humanity's abilities to witness atrocities en-masse has never been so great, which ironically fuels that dopamine assisted morbid curiosity. If you cant handle the raw edge of reality hawked by media news outlets, sleep safer at night knowing a Hollywood horror is just make up and special effects.

What does a receipt prove? That you have a document for one withdrawal, and most people could be forgiven for assuming a withdrawal is a single transaction.

The ATM operator could see if subsequent transactions took place, but Chase probably cant, unless it forcibly introduces a time limit of 5 to 10 mins on each withdrawal from the same machine. In part this is a data sharing contract with ATM operators.

This is where mobile phones in particular SS7 can be used to place your mobile phone and apple watch next to the ATM in order to prevent fraud, but then also highlights who is data sharing with who, especially if your phone doesnt log the cell tower traffic management pinball wizard in order to triangulate the phone's location.

moremetadata··on AI Won't Cause Unemployment
>Fears about new technology replacing human labor and causing overall unemployment have raged across industrialized societies for hundreds of years, despite a nearly continual rise in both jobs and wages in capitalist economies. The jobs apocalypse is always right around the corner;

So by using the term "overall unemployment", the argument is framed in such a way the argument cant really be won. Why even bother debating?

However in the UK look at the Victorian seaside resorts, these have never recovered from their Victorian popularity because the airplane makes it quicker and easier to jet to better place's like Majorca or Ibiza.

Any politician attempting to suggest otherwise with schemes, is just deluded, wasting tax payers money, unless the country has its own Brexit & Covid in which to force people to holiday at home ...

Of course some seaside towns might become a hub for oil or windfarms[1], but that doesnt really help those already in a downhill trajectory living there, through lack of employment or age.

Look at the mining towns, the electricity grid and gas pipelines have put those miners out of business, and there are always going to be some who never recover because they are too old to retrain or dont have finances to escape to places with better pay and job opportunities.

I think people are poor at recognising the disruptive technology that can put them out of work, or lower their income.

The internet lowered the wages of programmers and call centre staff as work could be offshored more cheaply using the internet.

Banking and investing, gambling on spotting the trends which will become profitable over different timelines can be done anywhere in the world where fast communications exist provided you are not High Frequency Trading [1] where you then need your computers to be as close to the exchange as possible in order to manipulate markets.

Disruptive technology will always displace people, just look at the Middle East, places like Dubai, they have the already more favourable climate, so they can take modern building practices and turn a load of sand dunes into something quite spectacular.

You cant do that in places like the UK or Canada, where the weather is brutal and the winters are long, because everybody needs sunshine, and these man made inventions like heating and light just don't cut it for humans. They are stops gaps to help you survive the length of the a winter today if you dont have the finance to have a second home in the Maldives or Morroco, but if the planets orbit were to change, lengthening the winter, you would see things change more, a greater concentration of people moving back to the equator.

So AI will change jobs, getting rid of some and creating others, like the lab technician, tasked with the boring mundane error prone job of cell counting for blood tests, or spotting cancer cells in tissue biopsies, will be automated by AI. And AI will perform new jobs as routine, like spotting and counting bacterial biofilms in all tissue samples, when previously this was not routine, those jobs counting cells and biofilms will morph into management of AI roles, in much the same way a typical manager manages people.

Just like we see with programming languages coming and going, there are diverging and converging trends to be seen everywhere which will guide the future.

The takeaway is, recognise when something has peaked and find the next thing to peak on a timescale that works for you.

This is what investments is all about.

Since when did Brownian motion smoke and air particles have eyes and need to stand on two legs?

I sometimes think scientists need to get out more, maybe attend Glastonbury, where you are walking from the Pyramid Stage to the Other Stage, after its rained heavily and Eavis hasnt given the order to put any or enough straw down, so everyone is concentrating on staying upright by looking down at the mud swamp that will consume their next step and wellington boot whilst also briefly but hesitantly looking at the person or persons immediately in front of them in order to facilitate their escape.

Sure arena's are less likely to be water logged mud swamps, but outdoor puddles introduce their own obstacles as do cambers of the surface. Get past ticket control, enter big atriums and newbies will pause in awe of the size whilst also getting their bearings, regulars will know where to go. I see this behaviour in every major train station or airport, especially as the signs are generally up high, diverting their gaze from taking the next step, thus slowing down the flow of people.

I dont see any of these factors being accounted for in this paper.

And its for the above mentioned reasons, namely not accounting for the proper metrics that count, that some self driving vehicle companies are not going to succeed any time soon at level 5, because their algorithm weighting is all wrong.

moremetadata··on Fat Loss Experiments I've Tried and Failed At
You havent tried a couple of grams of nicotinic acid on an empty stomach a day. It increases Growth Hormone which helps build muscle easily, USAF doctors prescribe it for bad backs (lumber/lower back) in their front line troops with NSAIDS. This doesnt work with Niacinamide, the non prostaglandin flush version of vit B3.

The GH will increase your neutrophil levels which are anti inflammatory but will deplete your omega3 levels in the body, increasing your desire for tea and other sources which increase dopamine levels. As omega3 levels deplete, your osteoclast levels will increase which will give you bone problems like osteomalacia or putty bones as I call it because you can literally push your bones in and they feel like putty and I dont mean the software called Putty!

Osteoclasts release calcium into the blood stream which amplify the stimulating catecholamines, so would be on "it" physically and mentally until you drop. The higher your Omega3 levels, the less osteoclasts are differentiated from bone marrow stem cells, and the presence of omega 3's make it a COX inhibitor of sorts because it ties up the cyclooxygenase, and manmade COX inhibitors are prescribed for things like arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis in animals and humans, which is where the immune system is getting inside the bones and attacking them from the inside, further reducing the quality of your bone marrow and subsequent stem cell release.

To help protect against that, an increased intake of vit K2-MK4 can help maintain strong bones.

I wouldnt recommend nicotinic acid if you are going through puberty because it will increase the chances of getting acromegaly, aka that James Bond "Jaws"/Internet Chad look, you'll have increased height and more pronounced bone formation especially in the face, but little strength because your muscles lack the other chemicals to make decent hard strong quality muscle, like myostatin inhibitors. This is why food companies in the UK use niacinamide (vit b3) in fortified food, the UK food industry wants that soft feminine look in the population! GH also increases tumour risk despite being the first chemo drug used in the US in the 50's.

Exercise 1st thing in the morning is the most effective time to exercise, before eating or drinking anything which probably explains why the military use this during basic training to get people fit. Its the hormones that help us get fit and build muscle which wake us up every day. Going hungry also increase growth hormone so besides being angry when hungry, which is a good way to get motivated to exercise, the growth hormone will helps bones form better, which in animals like dogs helps reduce the incidence of hip dysplasia and the subsequent need for hip replacement's in post pup dogs, something the vets wont tell you!

Personally I would increase my omega 3 intake, studies have used up to 8g a day, algal oil (omega 3 from vat grown algae), over several months should deliver the weight loss results required, without trying to lose weight and they have an anti depressant effect as well, but it takes a long time (months) to get levels up in places like the brain or spinal fluid.

The algae is what the fish feed on, so by not having fish oil but algal oil, you get pure uncontaminated omega 3's without those fishy burps that comes with consuming fish oil.
