For us Ukrainians, capitulation is not an option because Putin wants to do a "denazification". Under this word he means purging (killing or sending to a gulag) every Ukrainian who is known to be openly pro-Ukrainian (which used to be about 25% of adult population before Feb 24, and is even more now).
Voice sounds even more unrealistic than the video (source: I'm Ukrainian). No one in Ukraine would believe the audio part of this fake, even if video was perfect. This is a pathetic attempt.
Also, the script (the text that is being read) is written as if the target audience are Russian, not Ukrainian people (because it's based on propaganda narratives that people outside of Russia are not familiar with). This is such a poor fake from every standpoint.
This "Hey, you are from Ukraine, let us switch you to the Russian language" behavior I see in some places literally causes me PTSD. I got pissed off this way by Adobe just yesterday. Please don't do it people. I don't have the Russian language configured on any of my devices and in any of my accounts (and never had), they do it purely by location.
Ukrainian government is concerned, but it has to balance the "defense" side of the problem with the "economic impact" side of the problem (considering that this "Russia will attack at any moment" situation may last for years).
IEC 60906-1 is great, obviously the best of them all (considering all the legacy). I see that India uses a similar standard as the old South Africa plug. Why doesn't India do the same and migrate to IEC 60906-1? If I were Indian, I'd start campaigning for that.
Same thing with my Sennheiser bluetooth headphones. It may seem like no one will want to use them while connected to a wire, but sometimes having awkwardly-wired headphones is better than having no working headphones at all.
I renamed it into {not-keygen}.{not-exe} instead. I didn't investigate the issue in details, but I think that Microsoft expects a more enterprisey file name for a legitimate keygen. I should have called it something along the lines of CredentialManager.exe instead :)
But I wonder whether it did auto-submit these files to Microsoft together with my private keys. I'm glad that the private keys were in config files outside of the executables, and this probably saved them from being compromised.
No, it was just a plain Windows form, built from scratch using a then-popular Windows IDE. I think it was mostly triggered by the file name, maybe in combination with some crypto code inside.
I recently unpacked an old archive from the time I was making some shareware few decades ago. Windows Defender instantly ate all keygen.exe files from it. Those keygens were my own keygens for my own software (I wrote them myself and used them to generate keys for my customers back in the day).

In my experience, the problem with unofficial place names is that the same name gets assigned to different places by different people because there is no "single source of truth". And as soon as there is a single source of truth, the name is not unofficial anymore.
I get your point. But this is exactly what Russian information sources are trying to make everyone believe (that "it's not exactly as clearcut as that", almost a literal translation of the phrase they like to repeat so much). I can presume that your information sources got most of their information from Russia-influenced media, and this pretty much expected if they were in the East at the time everything started. But the truth is that, once you peel back the informational disguise, it actually is very clear-cut.
If I were Asia, I would choose Type2 CCS in a combo with ChaoJi (the new version of Chademo). It's like the European CCS, but with its main flaw being resolved (namely, allowing you to plug upper and lower parts separately and not in one unwieldy piece).
What happened in Ukraine in mid-2014 was not a civil war at all. One side poorly pretended to be a militia, while the other side were regular military forces of Ukraine. It's not a civil war when one country attacks another country.
Bitcoins are not really fungible. There are already services that provide "fresh, minted straight to your wallet with no history" bitcoins, which cost more than normal "used" bitcoins.
In my native language (Ukrainian), the word "person" (людина) is always feminine. Even if someone wanted to say "I'm a very masculine person", they would still need to use a feminine form of the word "masculine" to say "masculine person". And no one has ever had any issues with that, ever.
