After seeing Alex use Screenr, I just had to try it out myself.short version:
1. mate /etc/hosts
2. select the lines you want to comment out
3. command forward-slash (⌘/)
4. save and authenticate if necessaryBPA-free has always seemed like another marketing ploy to up-sell the consumer on more crap they don't need.

I am a hacker/founder, and I'm still surprised at the lack of NYC support we get. Why is nobody talking about us? Is banking that boring?
As a response, we've started a company to lend a public voice to NYC founders.
We have some good responses so far, but we've just begun. We're willing to highlight any NYC startup or founder with an idea, so start submitting.
- Are there presentations?
- Are people generally social?
- Is it more than a networking event?
I'm on the nyyc list, but it's so low traffic that I haven't found any answers to these types of questions.jobs@mybanktracker.com

Currently sorting through 100+ candidates, but HN readers would clearly go to the top of the list.
I was amazed how easy this was to do in OS X. I could only do this with registry hacks on a PC, and I can't remember how I used to do it in Linux.
If anyone from HN is going to be there, our team will be wearing the white My Bank Tracker shirts. Come talk to us.
Not sure how that slipped past my radar, since it's my industry.
E.g.,
Tom: "Lost was really cool last night"
Jerry: "Sorry Tom, didn't see it"
Tom: "Why? You don't like it?"
Jerry: "I don't have a TV"
Well... at least in my experience. At the site I co-founded we are in a similar situation. We provide bank rates, reviews, news, etc. and we know that these are important issues to the average consumer. However, this doesn't necessarily translate into TechCrunch writing stories about us. We're just not that cool...
But, as we all know, you don't have to be cool or change the world to be profitable.
Thanks for the great response!
@ellyagg I can understand that not everyone thinks that this technology is a great idea, but for my audience this could be a huge win for me!
