Are you insinuating it has nothing to do with executive wages ballooning (CEO compensation growing nearly 1,000% since the 1970's) and is instead because women are working?
I get part of that is because reviewers didn't have access to console versions of the game, but honestly that should have been a huge red flag and put front and center on every single review. The blame falls almost entirely on the developers for this clusterfuck, but reviewers are holding some of the blame as well.
That being said I'm optimistic that with patches over the coming months it'll get to a point where I'm comfortable buying eventually.
I'm back on Android now where I can choose default apps and now if a friend sends a link, I click it and read it, then I click over to the homepage, then 20 minutes goes by as I mindlessly scroll. It's a blessing and a curse to be able to use your phone the way you want to, I guess.
All I really wanted was a wireless printer so I could stick it somewhere out of sight (small apartment) and be able to print easily. I settled on an HP because it was a good combination of cheap/decent reviews.
Setting it up was such a pain in the ass, including instructions telling me to install what I later found to be the wrong setup program. Now I have two separate programs (one that I can change printer settings including changing wifi networks, and another to use the scanner). It doesn't seem right and I feel like I should only need one, but whatever it works right now and I don't plan on changing anything until the printer or I die.
That feeling of dread and uncertainty is all too real for me.
I was on Android until a few months ago. If I was sent a Reddit link it would open in the Reddit app I liked, no need to ever even look at the mobile site. I was shocked that that seemingly basic feature ISN'T available on iOS. Instead my options are view the Reddit link in browser or on the official Reddit app.
Most of the time I just choose not to click the link because of that.
I did recently have two radiofrequency ablations done, which burned the nerves that were giving me considerable pain. So far it's been successful and my biking/walking/lightweight lifting routine has probably helped too.
I still drink way too much so losing weight is an issue, but I do feel healthier at least.
I was actually thinking the other day it'd be great if any of the chat apps had that now that the whole world is connecting via video chat
Similarly, 14th St in DC even just a few years ago was becoming a vibrant, fun spot to shop, drink, and eat in. This was after years of neglect in the area. Over the last year or so though a string of bars and shops have closed and all been replaced with banks. Capital One Cafes, Citi, etc. I have no idea how all these banks are functioning (I thought brick and mortar banks were on their way out?) but it's a damn shame.
The politician isn't looking to do what's right, they're looking to get reelected.
I almost think it's my own fault as I never interacted with those posts about friends having kids or getting new jobs (at least not on Facebook), so I wonder if the algorithms just showed me less and less of my own friends content. If it matters I only ever looked at FB through the mobile web browser - I didn't have the app and never looked at it on my computer.
I've seen plenty of sites that also combine all the streaming service lists and let you search for specific movies or just browse based on genre.
Could it maybe be easier? Sure. But I'd argue it's still a lot easier than pirating...
1. Search Google for movie you want to watch.
2. Google shows a handy "Available on" frame at the top of the page, with prices (if applicable) and services that it's on.
3. Click the link.
4. Watch.
And you can rest easy knowing that you're not breaking the law because you're cheap and for some reason feel entitled to getting things for free.
