Unfortunately, there's talk of shutting it down[2] due to low ridership stemming from the pandemic.

It needs to be stabilized if we're ever going to replace fiat currency.
For mobile usage I use the third party app, Apollo[1], highly recommended.
For desktop I use a couple of third party extensions to improve the experience & normalize the UI, Old Reddit Redirect [2], RES [3]. I then disable subreddit css and enable dark mode. Any subreddit I visit looks exactly the same as any other, it really allows you to focus on reading content.

I traded backlinks through a website (whose name escapes me) where you'd place a javascript snippet on the page and it would load 10 random links to other websites. I think you could also pick which sites you wanted your link to appear on and they'd pay a certain price per month to keep it there. It was all about boosting PageRank in Google through a keyword link.
The idea was to create a website for search-engines, not for humans. It was about gaming the search engines and as a side-effect, creating organic traffic to the site where a human would then be bombarded by Google Adsense. The ads were "relevant" to my generated content and keywords.
It only took Google about a month or so to blacklist the domain. I think I made about ~$400 in ad revenue in just a few weeks. IIRC, the threshold to payout your adsense revenue was $1k and I never reached it.
All in all, it was a fun little project that furthered my interest in web development.
Issues with delimiters in release versions on Linux
const elements = document.querySelectorAll('li');
[...elements].forEach((element) => element.addEventListener('click', this.onClickHandler));If I had a local bank it wouldn't have been much of a problem as I would have been able to withdraw funds in person. I agree that chargebacks are pretty easy but in my experience the card itself had to be canceled and reprinted causing an inconvenience. Luckily I have credit cards for emergencies such as this.
All things considered it wasn't a huge deal to me personally but I could see how fraud could potentially be quite the problem for some.
Edit: To add, I also needed to print out, sign, and fax an affidavit form for my bank along with a scan of the card itself to prove it was still in my possession.
About 4 years ago the company I worked for had this in their domain portfolio and at one time offered shared hosting from this domain in the mid-late 90's to Present. There are likely a lot of legacy accounts still utilizing the subdomain hosting accounts but we decided to take advantage of domains that were no longer used. Most of these accounts were tied to a dial-up internet service (Concentric).
There were a ton of old broken links for subdomains like mycompany.cts.com where the client had closed their account. I set up 301 redirects in the htaccess file for any subdomain which was no longer in use and the actual cts.com domain to redirect to one of our services websites. The PageRank for that website went from 3 to 7 for about a year then it dropped back down to around 4-5.
Fun times!
Otherwise, offline you place it into a card reader and enter a PIN. The card then authenticates the transaction only if the PIN matches. The card stays within the reader as you enter the PIN.

You say you're trying to provide a platform that is maintenance free but what about say, tumblr, twitter, blogger, reddit, and all-the-others? Maybe you have more planned for a future release but I think you need to incentivise in someway. The topic categories seem restrictive or too broad. Hope that helps, good luck :)
