Previous employer transitioned time tracking (and all other hr things) to this giant all in one SAP thing. It took so many clicks to do anything. Took 3 clicks to just save your hours.

I expected this to be easy to setup since it's just email. Yet using the exact same credentials my mail client uses fails to connect.

I don't know. It's really not that bad. No one is forcing you to click on these new buttons. The old markdown(ish) syntax still works, and even formats live as you type it, which for me is awesome.

It kept getting harder and harder for me to legally use my drone. I own a parrot drone that weighs 500g. That uses to be the upper limit to not need an aviation license or certificate of some kind, and Insurance. Now 250g and up have those requirements, so I just stopped using it. I only used it once every few months for some arial footage anyway.

I worked a turkey egg production farm for 4 years before becoming a software developer. I can say without a doubt that the cognitive load software development brings has been worse on me than the 12 hour days on the farm ever were.

Understandably that's just one guys experience though.
