Price is out of my range, but I don't think it's an unrealistic price tag, but at the current price, you'll only be gaining a certain portion of the market.
As for me, I don't watch TV and haven't owned a TV for about five years now. That's not to say I wouldnt mind trying this out when I'm watching a movie on my laptop, if and when thats be a possibility.
I hate to play devil's advocate, but this story has been told time and time again in different settings. sometimes it's a girl, sometimes its a college student, etc. but it always ends up with the person jumping out of a window/rooftop because they've convinced themselves that they can fly. I'm not saying that this particular story isn't true, but it's become the classic anti-LSD urban myth.
The phones that I really like seem to never be available in the US. Admittedly, I have a unique taste in phones. I love the idea of a minimal phone OS with a qwerty keypad (or number pad). The new Blackberry Classic looks really nice too, but it's not available in the US and Blackberry has all but abandoned ship in the US market.
Nokia is getting so close to scratching that itch with this phone. I really hope there's a US version with similar specs somewhere up the pipe.
I tried the SNES version some time later, and it just wasn't the same...
Come visit New York and see how you like it!
I have a special place in my heart for Winamp's classic UI (Winamp 2). In my opinion, it was the most intuitive interface for a music player. it had a playlist, equalizer, plugins, all of which were condensable to a fraction of it's full size. Of course, now there are a number of similar players that have the same capabilities, but shit, Winamp 2.x was where it started. Even today, it blows todays iTunes interface way out of the water.

I discovered Megadeth in the 2000's and they quickly became my favorite band. I haven't kept up with them very much in recent years, but the band and the fans have always had a tight-knit community on the internet. It's interesting to see the impact that 'Megadeth, Arizona' had on the WWW at the time. We've really come a long way in the last 20 years.
