It reminds me a bit of https://thebestmotherfucking.website/
For example, I have ']c' bound to jump to the next changed hunk in a file. This works by leveraging a git plugin in Neovim proper, but since VSCode has built-in git support, it instead invokes a VSCode command. Even more complex extensions like Hop/Easymotion work great. I've had much better experience with it than the other Vim binding extension, which just recreates the Vim experience with native VSCode features.
but the one mark against them is that by pushing Steam, they normalized DRM in the video game space and killed physical media on PCs.
Anytime Firefox works on UI stuff, people seem to get really annoyed they aren't working on something else. You mention that "Reorganizing menus or adding alt text to PDFs won't make any impact on user adoption", I think it's the exact opposite. There is no greater thing the average everyday Joe cares more about than the UI, and if they just called it good 10 years ago, the project would be in an even worse state.
about:config is right where it's always been, unless I've missed something?
Now, whether or not the buyers will agree with their thinking is another story.
Mozilla has made significant UI changes every 3-4 years, with the last one being in 2021. Perhaps we're about due to see another?
This is the biggest limitation for me. I like WASM fine, but anytime I want to use it I have to turn back to Rust. I like Rust fine, but without support in other languages, it's not necessarily worth diving into.

EDIT: Oh they're the same person as mentioned in the article! How about that.
However, the things I'm interested in don't require much use of 3rd party packages, but I'm told this is its current weakness. Granted, that can only be fixed if more people adopt it.
Most of the work I've done is raw hex editing (which I've always known wasn't ideal), so I'm curious about their methods here. I will admit that as someone familiar with the concepts but not the methods, what their compilation script is doing, or how creating it helps the project along, is a bit lost on me.
Only their website remains
