Preservation of the software is the most important thing and I'm glad the game pirates are very fastidious about it, but preservation of hardware like this is - if not as important - at least as fascinating!
And still, I won't buy one. I doubt I'll ever earn enough money to make retro game collecting feasible, so I'll stick with collection retro game controllers and connecting them to PCs for faithful emulation ;)
Except in the latter case they clearly played it from DVD, interlaced even! At first I was like "I can't watch this!" but after 3 minutes I was so captivated I didn't even notice anymore!
> the first compiler for it was implemented in 1975
Almost make me want to exchange my O2 for a clear CMOY :D
At minimum wage I would have paid about a day's salary, and thus I "boycotted" it.
EDIT: The one floating around the internet seems to be a fan cut. I'm curious how it holds up to the actual thing.
That's what I heard.
Also the the Roadshow cut of Hateful Eight. That was shown in more places. I could have seen it, but they asked for an arm and a leg, and I need those!
EDIT: According to another comment it's H264.
I have 3 Android devices and can use this only on the one that has a SIM card? And even if the others had SIM cards, they'd be on different accounts? WTF.
I was thinking about making a game in Löve for a while now, but I have never done any automated testing with it.
Is there a good tutorial for that? Or do you feel like writing one? ;)
Does it last the full day and them some, like my phone does?
Note that that doesn't mean it's GOOD.
I never used one and everyday there is another one on HN, confusing me with all its features xD
Tobold was a very minor character in The Lord of the Rings (better known as Old Toby), so it's not an entirely original nickname ;)
Basically after the Amiga died and before the Xbox360 came out (I would say off the top of my hat).
What could possibly go wrong?
I feel Arise should come first because it has the most "origin story", and I put SAC last, because I like to keep the best for last.
And, like I said, it "feels" more chronological that way (to me). TBF, it's been a while since I saw SAC and the movies, so it's possible I misremembered.
