Made me think and have to do some digging for the 'Kagi' out of Berkeley founded in the 90s where you could register your shareware purchases in the days before PayPal. Which seems to have been largely scrubbed from history outside of some WayBack snapshots.

There's several attorneys whose websites outline what's involved.
The hand-annotated code chart reminded me how 1989's LPMUD from Sweden wrote the author's name as "Lars Pensj|" since "Pensjö" couldn't be done in 7-bit ASCII. I guess it would've been "Pensj@" in EBCDIC.

so it can't use the UNIX™ trade mark.
But it's got the AT&T Unix kernel & userland sources contained in it.

* Not having "extended partitions" as a concept to deal with
* OS booting not dependant on "load an MSDOS bootblock from LBA offset X"
What I dislike:
* Not having a minimal straightforward shell to troubleshoot from
* Not letting the UEFI variables be easily user accessible/fixable
I assure you as someone who was reading WikiLeaks from before the big ones, they were extensively methodological, working with journalists and actually contacting the government with notices of upcoming releases providing them the opportunity to request reasonable redactions. They were as good or better than the infosec https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coordinated_vulnerability_disc... community.
I wonder what their trick is.
If the money spent on the salaries of the CADT developers making this were spent on the Debian package maintenance, many problems would vanish.

They were /not/ in favor of the proprietary Motif desktop environment, nor the (at the time, non-FLOSS Qt library dependent) KDE (C++) environment, hence the FSF creating the GNOME (C) environment. "...GNOME and KDE will remain two rival desktops, unless some day they can be merged in some way. Until then, the GNU Project is going to support its own team vigorously. Go get ’em, gnomes!"

The BSD developers were inspired to make their code free software by the example of the GNU Project, and explicit appeals from GNU activists helped persuade them..."
Springer Nature would appear to disagree with your assertion.
"Authors should use the terms sex (biological attribute) and gender (shaped by social and cultural circumstances) carefully in order to avoid confusing both terms. Article titles and/or abstracts should indicate clearly what sex(es) the study applies to. Authors should also describe in the background, whether sex and/or gender differences may be expected; report how sex and/or gender were accounted for in the design of the study; provide disaggregated data by sex and/or gender, where appropriate; and discuss respective results. If a sex and/or gender analysis was not conducted, the rationale should be given in the Discussion. These guidelines apply to studies involving humans, vertebrate animals and cell lines."
