This GitHub repo [1] has map files generated using OpenAddresses.
Load the appropriate one for your area and you can search using addresses in the normal format. They currently provide maps for North America, and are regenerated roughly monthly.
(Thank you pnoll1!)

That seems like a good balance for me.
Which is a frustrating oversight.
Which is fine, but means it isn't a one-stop-shop for indie sites.
Or will associating with one likely get my instance blocked from federating with the other?
That really stung.
I'm curious if this is the case if the other party is giving other visual indications of focus. (Making intent eye contact, nodding, etc.)
Obviously it may still be uncomfortable because it's not your preferred communication/feedback style, but I'm curious if that mitigates the feeling of not being listened to or not.
I'd like to understand it, but haven't really felt like I grasped it after reading short descriptions.
They spent a lot of time tuning those mechanics with the stated intent of making multiplayer that was cooperative and positive.
I think what they achieved is generally quite impressive.
It strikes me as being as close to machine generated content as possible. I'm not sure I could have thought of any single thing that felt more like a GPT3 fever dream: disconnected assertions that are divorced from a underpinning understanding.
I was hoping to be able to use some esoteric ones, but that doesn't seem possible, unless I've overlooked something.
Being able to aggregate a couple of these up-and-coming engines with result reduplication sounds really neat.
I heard about this at one point, by was stymied by not knowing what I could use to record that data in a useful format for gyroflow.
This largely rectified the address search in OSMAnd for me, though it does not update automatically and so requires occasional reapplication.
Hope that helps!
I think your statement is fine, if the reader interprets your statement charitably, but it could be misread.
Just a guess!
I mean that genuinely. I feel like I'd be upset in your shoes. Are you looking at it differently somehow?
