I'll echo how good V Rising is. I don't even like this entire genre (base building grindy survival), but I had a blast in this game. I eventually gave up when managing my castle became too much of an annoying chore (omg I have to tear everything down and rebuild it all AGAIN because now I don't have enough space in the required room to place this new crafting bench or whatever ... OMG PLEASE NO) but the world exploration and combat and bosses was always super fun. I also loved how they allowed the player to scale the difficulty however they wanted. I wound up turning my game into "baby" mode by cranking the boss difficulty down just because I didn't want to keep replaying the bosses in my limited time. Had a blast!

For me the appeal of drive through is 100% solely just that I get to listen to my own podcasts or music. I don’t carry headphones with me outside of the house so if I get to keep my podcasts going - that’s good enough reason for me.

I have loved split ergo boards since childhood. Several years ago I found the sp111 board and truly think this is my endgame. I am right handed, so a southpaw numpad just makes SO much sense to me. Plus I use it for gaming so it's like a built in gaming macropad.

I also have a kinesis advantage 2 with some insanely nice switches, but never use it just because of the learning curve.

one of the biggest roads in my town has these purple lights at night, and it's very off-putting honestly. Makes it kind of hard to see things properly. I specifically avoid this road at night now because of it.

Right now I’m playing Sail Forth and it hits that stress reducer for me. It does have combat but totally optional and the exploration and fishing and discovery is so relaxing.

Absolutely love A Short Hike. Perfect to relax in bed or on the couch on the Deck and just relax. I have fallen asleep playing it multiple times. Just wandering and soaring and climbing.

I live in a state where they have banned all porn sites entirely. If I try to go to pornhub there's a statement from the company saying I can't access it at all. Period. It's beyond absurd into the realm of comedy levels of incompetence from the gov.

This is true for me. I have a personal desktop, but for mobility (laptop) my work issued MacBook M1 Pro is the only thing I have. There's no reason at all to purchase a personal laptop since my company is fully remote and they purchased the laptop from apple and had it directly sent to me, and have never required me to install any kind of monitoring software or control software on it at all.

Completely agree. I am listening to some chill music and wanting to catch up on some hardware reviews, so I want to read a nice article. If I accidentally click on something that takes me to a god awful yt video, it completely disrupts my focus and irritates the hell out me. I instantly close the tab and never go back to whatever source pointed me there. I absolutely loathe yt video content of stuff that should obviously be text but isn't. Gaming content has gone this way a lot sadly.

I would absolutely LOVE to have a linux smartphone, but as far as I'm aware, there really isn't one that can be used as a competent daily driver. Has that changed recently? For me, a competent daily driver is a device that can last all day on a single charge, do gps mapping, reliably make and receive calls/texts, and install a handful of apps such as Signal and a banking app.

Completely agree. I love Proton, been a paying customer for many years now. I do use the Proton Drive app all the time, and occasionally the vpn when I'm at an airport or hotel.

But I refuse to use their Pass app, and I similarly will refuse to use this new docs app. I use Standard Notes for all my notes (funny enough they joined with Proton this year lol) and Bitwarden for passwords. And then I just let Apple sync all my contacts, and for calendar it's kind of required that I use the ios calendars for family member sharing reasons.

All I see is the ancient dinosaur bill pay service, the ancient dinosaur wire service, the hideously expensive ach service, and then zelle. Some places accept zelle, some don't. Some people accept zelle, some don't. Which makes it impossible to use.

All those services suck. So what that means in real life, is just that everyone uses venmo and nothing else. Which I dislike greatly, but am forced to use.

you're correct there about the southpaws. I wish they would break in! I have two SP111's and they are truly my endgame boards. Had them for years and haven't once had a desire to go look for anything different. Truly perfect for exactly what I want. I feel like a lot of other people as well would love it, if only they could try it. But .... this was a VERY expensive board, and was only available in a limited time group buy. I have no idea if it's even available for purchase right now.
