OrgNet··on Chimpanzees Spontaneously Dance to Music
That "music" sounds like what they would play to someone being tortured to keep him awake for days.
OrgNet··on Windows 95 UI Design
Windows 2000 was the best... please bring it back (without the new tracking ideas, of course).
OrgNet··on 88% of Americans use a second screen while watching TV
I feel the same way when I browse the web with ads...

They probably can, but they won't until they have to.
OrgNet··on Grumpy Website – a blog about everything wrong with modern web & tech
no, we are victims of how Google and other companies are allowed to design their systems because the regulations are nonexistent or outdated.... forget about the drawer this is just stupid to think that it is a big problem.
OrgNet··on Grumpy Website – a blog about everything wrong with modern web & tech
those are mostly minor annoyances that can be avoided by switching to a different product... What is wrong with tech is that proper regulations to protect customers have mainly not been written yet or are outdated (mainly for privacy issues).

Why don't you suggest alternate products that don't have these problems?

OrgNet··on Next on California's roads: Autonomous pizza delivery trucks
What kind of warning are they going to put on those?
OrgNet··on Tesla's stock just hit a record $420
Its probably because of the pickup truck that is priced very nicely (but don't rely on my personal opinion)
OrgNet··on Tesla's stock just hit a record $420

OrgNet··on UFO: Pilot who spotted famous Tic Tac breaks silence after 15 years
> I think if we ever see an alien, he will either fly to us in a completely enormous nuclear rocket which we will spot years before his arrival and deceleration.

I think that they will teleport here and be minuscule and invisible (at first).

OrgNet··on Bill to crack down on robocalls passes Senate
It is 2 different problems but if a call in unsolicited and political, it could have great consequences if they are micro-targeting millions of Americans.
OrgNet··on Consumers who sought cash settlement from Equifax probably won't get full $125
now I'm "happy" I chose the credit monitoring option...
OrgNet··on Bill to crack down on robocalls passes Senate
I don't know but political calls can be worst because they could be microtargeting you.
OrgNet··on PinePhone Review
I wish I could use that dream phone on Xfinity/Comcast mobile, but even if they use Verizon tower, they block most phones that are Verizon-compatible... they only allow BYOD if you have an iPhone, Samsung Galaxy or Google Pixel.

I have a phone that isn't supposed to work with Comcast mobile, but 4g works for about 30 minutes if I reboot... I wonder if it would be the same with this phone.

OrgNet··on Facebook fail to convince lawmakers it needs to track your location at all times

OrgNet··on You might literally be buying trash on Amazon
The worst thing about amazon is that it doesn't charge everyone the same price... someone connected on my home network was able to pay 15% less then me and I try to block tracking
OrgNet··on You might literally be buying trash on Amazon
The worst thing about amazon is that it doesn't charge everyone the same price

OrgNet··on “Snowcrash” to be HBO series, compete with actual early Metaverses for viewers
> I think HBO can manage.

OrgNet··on Nebraska farmers vote overwhelmingly for Right to Repair
They can screw the people who know how to repair their stuff and prevent the ones that don't know what they are doing from screwing something up, I guess (none of it make sense)... but of course they make more money this way.
OrgNet··on Killersheep – Silly game to show off the new features of Vim 8.2
> For ones you don't, just code it up in a few functions.

why waste that time instead of using vim?

OrgNet··on The Pirate Bay is trialing high-quality video streaming
The mixtape law might also be part of it, but are those mixtape websites legal?
OrgNet··on Google Assistant Can Now Translate Languages on Your Phone
> Or are you worried that someone at Google knows your voice?

Google already knows who you are, now they know a bit more about you, including what you talk about, and of course your voice which probably can be used to locate you with all those "smart" speakers around.

OrgNet··on Google Assistant Can Now Translate Languages on Your Phone
that will change when they figure out the privacy implications
OrgNet··on Google Assistant Can Now Translate Languages on Your Phone
but the processing is the important part
OrgNet··on Having Kids
I have 3 kids, 1.5 year apart, and I can completely relate. Not sure what kind of wisdom I can give you though... besides getting a baby sitter as often as possible
