This isn't unheard of. Call AppleCare and request to speak to a senior advisor and explain the situation. They should be able to see the inconsistencies in the repair and sort it out for you.

It's not a Maps feature but an iOS system feature called Frequent Locations.

If you don't like this behavior you should turn off Frequent Locations specifically under Settings> Privacy> Location Services> System Services> Frequent Locations

PS It may be now called Significant Locations in the latest iOS versions...

OMG. So Annoying! Please don't send me any damn notifications. If you just had a button at the top of the site that allowed selection to add to websites that are allowed to push notifications that would be a bit better.

I hate trying to use a site and it isnt working for some reason just to find out it is prompting me for some damn notifications!
