Here's a parent of two, 9F, 12M:
As soon as you can interact with them set few, understandable rules and stick with them (bed time, screen time, eating habits, chores). Those will create routines and the frictions will decrease. Don't pass to them the responsibility of the decisions (what to eat, seeing or not seeing grandparents, going here or there) as this makes them feel unsure.
In the good or in the bad, if you promise, deliver.
Let them know there's no such thing as a free lunch, neither at their family home.
Be consistent.
Those suggestions will help you to avoid anger overflows.
I believe that's not something that should be celebrated.
It's exactly the same as someone decides to live as a character from the future or from dnd. Probably he will not be able to integrate within the society and possibly will end up being the 'weirdo' one at best. Possibly he missed someone that simply told him that that's not normal or a wise choice. Possibly he missed someone with eyes to see that that's a no go and with a voice to make him reflect about that. I wish him all the best.
Sorry I'm not one of the team of the politically correct/everything is valid because it seems like a choice (but it's not).
I may be wrong (as I'm not the owner of the project), but I think everythings happens on your browser, nothing is uploaded nowere. I'll check with my friend! thank you for asking!
That's a personal profile page which has an expired certificate, sorry for that.
If you're (or anyone really) interested in what I did and would like to try it out for curiosity and feedback, please feel free to reach me at j@costantini.pw as I'd be pleased to share it. Thanks
I never coded but I know what's needed and how things should be arranged to work.
Result: I've developed and deployed a fully fledged web service both for human and machine use. Backend, front-end, endpoints, db, integration with our company systems, authentication, testing and deploy.
In 5 sessions of 4 hours each. It was incredible while it was happening. I pay openai.
Just today I was writing a json response to an incorrect login.
I had the option to discern and inform that the username was not correct, that the password was not correct, or both were not correct.
I deliberately decided that I'd code and supply a single error message stating that there were 'something wrong with the credentials supplied'. So I stayed generic in order not to give additional info to any malicious user... so I believe there's at least one good reason to use a generic error message. Am I wrong?
I also procrastinate bed time. I've always linked it to anxiety (non necessarily in strict medical terms/meaning).
That's my rationale: In the evening the day's over and 'nothing can happen' anymore for that day, so I feel I can chill out. On the contrary, tomorrow 'anything has yet to happen' and I can have a feeling of worry.
That's the reason I've given myself to procrastinate bed time. Not sure of that's the case or I'm just a night owl (possibly that's the case as per Occam's).
Anyway, I feel you.
Couldn't it be that the spool with the rope floats on the surface and only one end of it is connected to the submarine with a snap hook? It may work and saves me the maths exercise lol :)
I had the exact same experience. I always thought that the electric toothbrush was something for lazy ppl, then only recently - spotting one of the best electric brushes heavily discounted - I bought it. I felt I never had my teeth so clean. A game changer.
