You know, I don't know how practical this is but I've been feeling for a long time that all accusations should be kept confidential (enforced by the court) and trials not be at all public until a verdict is reached. We're supposed to be innocent until proven guilty, but people treat others as guilty until proven innocent with some of these accusations.
Is this like 2 drinks a week average, or no more than 2 drinks in any given week? Because I'd say a lot of people are less than 2 average, but more than 2 in a given week
Aye my skoda has a touch screen but I rarely use it (2016 model with touch screen and proper buttons, not the horrific current design of xbox style touch buttons) because I have 2 scroll wheels (volume and screen between the rev counter and speedo control), buttons to skip back and forward music, button for voice assistant, and a phone button. Its the best design out there I'm convinced.
Yesterday some nutcase was doing about 100mph when me and other cars were doing about 50, he undertook a car in the right lane who was behind me but didnt realise there was a car in the right lane in front of me (I was in left, UK roads so left is driving lane). All is hear is the absolute screeching of brakes, if that car didn't have ABS theres no way he'd have kept it straight, and itd have probably gone into the side of me
Right and how does this work for people who are in the country? I'm a country lad and quite frankly a car will always be necessary. I'm not cycling half an hour there and half an hour back to the nearest shop and 2 hours there and 2 hours back to school every day
If you're on android, honestly relay for reddit pro is the best thing I've bought. So glad it was a one time purchase and not a subscription. It's actually a good experience to use too.
I'm not totally convinced the automatics are more economical. There are 3 cars currently at our house. 2016 1.2 petrol manual, 2013 2.0 diesel manual, and 2021 1.0 petrol automatic. The 2013 car would consistently get 5 ish mpg better than the 2016 car, and that one would consistently get 5-10mpg better than the automatic
This don't seem fair on people who dont have much of a choice, like if you live in the country (no public transport) and frequently have to make trips longer than an EV would typically allow. All a carbon tax there would do is make life more expensive.
The self checkouts are grand on the condition that they get rid of a lot of the security stuff, I'm sick of needing approval to buy a bottle of beer or it failing because it didn't like how I did something
My Acer laptop has something similar, I tried to dual boot windows (preinstalled) and debian, debian couldnt see the hard drive no matter what I did. I'm assuming somehow Acer made it so the drive is only visable to windows
If he was trying to help the DPRK government, I have no sympathy for him. But if he was trying to help innocent people get around sanctions I kind of feel different. I've always felt uncomfortable with sanctions affecting individuals who had nothing to do with the reason the countries being sanctioned.
