Even as a joke it seems extremely crazy to add something like that to a document that will be going out to investors. What if this was missed in reviewing the document and actually went to the investors? Seems very reckless.

Seems like a huge red flag. Also it comes off as unprofessional. This is something you are showing to investors. You need to be very accurate with your slides. If it says he is a cofounder and CEO and he is not, then what does that say about your company? It makes you seem like you are not serious.

To be fair, Apple tells you what not to do on social media when you join. They are extremely no none-sense about it too, by the way she said she is an Apple engineer on her TikTok I can only assume she knew this.

Apple takes their brand extremely seriously when it comes to employees posting on social media. Apple is most likely worried that the video can be interpreted in some kind of negative light.

The whole video at a glance can be summed up in three words, “extortion”, “foreign country” and “Apple Engineer”.

I think you can learn as you go with tech. It depends on where you start. If you are a humble hobbyist with a few projects under his belt then a junior position isn’t too far out of reach.

As long as you pace yourself and are open to learn you can become a senior developer.
