I'm not in the space per-say but what are the predominant OS choices for ML/AI Devs?
The fact that hundreds maybe thousands of people knew and worked on this ahead of the press reports/rumors and subsequent information release speaks to how seriously everyone involved took this.

Found the repo were development is being managed: https://github.com/ietf-wg-acme/acme
There's now Blink, WebKit, Gecko, Trident in mainstream and a few others lurking.
Question: Is there a curve where pushing this processing back to the phone will become possible? The most powerful counterpoint at the moment is battery life, but I do see that improving to a plausible point where this sort of continual processing is feasible?

That's it right there. Music piracy took a long time to sort out because it was inaccessible. Now through Spotify/Apple Music/Youtube I struggle to find anyone who pirates music in my peers (it was prolific). It's not perfect yet and I think there's still some change to come but it's certainly ahead of the film industry.
Interestingly the results of this still end up on iCloud by the looks, and it back fills from iCloud (will that add big battery drain for first install of iOS 10?)
Businesses such as Calico, Nest, and Fiber, as well as its investing arms, such as Google Ventures and Google Capital, and incubator projects, such as Google X, will be managed separately from the Google business.
Fiber is the most notable to me - seems they see this as more than an experiment and are looking to expand.
YouTube not separating is an interesting one to me, I expected that to be separate.
I wonder how others feel about this, I really enjoy breaking apart existing websites and having a guide like this is certainly something I can use for inspiration in any of my projects - but I also wonder about the above clause and any implications it may have on copycat behaviour.
