I have managed tech start-ups around the world and now work in digital transformation and tech consultancy. I started working in tech back in 1992 with DOS, Clipper, Visual Basic, and Delphi, then moved into the first .COM boom, followed by mobile technologies.
I skipped the crypto and web3 boom, but I believe AI is the new internet, and it feels like 1999 all over again!
Just to update. Its not possible due to Javascript security. I found this > http://jquery.tiddlywiki.org/twFile.html but looks messy. Same idea I think as the filesaver.js that was above. Long story sort - gone back to do this with PHP :-)
Thanks
We have been evaluating a number of wireframing tools for iOS development over the last few weeks.
Having only played for 3.0 for 20mins, along with this stencil > http://www.teehanlax.com/tools/iphone-sketch-app/ (just need them to convert to the new Stencil) its pretty good. Best I have found so far.
I was about to start work with Omnigraffle which we had ended up with, but looks like I will be buying Sketch 3.0 end of today if no problems. We also tried Brief (http://giveabrief.com/) which concept wise is amazing but its not ready for prime time yet.
Photoshop was the other way, but unless you are a PS master just slow workflow.
I am Male, 38, a geek and overweight. In the last few years started having heart issues and had many 7 day event monitors. However, never managed to capture what my issue was. Each 7 day event monitor cost my medical insurance £3k! (In the UK). I spent hours on google researching and understanding arrhythmia. Most are benign, but not all.
What most people don't know is that an ECG machine or event monitor is all well and good, but for a lot of problems it needs to be attached when you have the incident. I have only had 5 incidents in 3 years. They could be harmless or they cloud kill me, but until you find out what they are its impossible to tell.
If this was on the market I would buy it, anyone that has had heart issues would know how important something like this is to get built and delivered into the market. The problem is, most people won't know they need this until later in life if at all.
Don't give up, please get this to market devices like this will save lives or at the very least reduce anxiety of people going through their first heart health issues to get a diagnosis of the problem.
Good luck!
My current problem is an IOS developer who I have used on 2 projects without issue. I then started a new project 3 months ago which should have taken 2-3 weeks max. So far his mother, son have both died. He lost his house. His computer broke, and then another one. Finally his son died again!? Still nothing has been sent, and he has had 50% of the money.
I suspect the problem is that he has taken on too much work. I have paid him well in the past, been fair with spec changes etc. He saw me an easy touch to screw over on the 3rd project. No plans to work with him again. It's not the money that pisses me off, its the wasted time!
What you should also consider doing is creating a page with some sort of chart / grid / flow / overview of the various technologies (Javascript libraries, scripting, database etc.). Part of the problem I see is that there are so many open source solutions that’s very hard to work out which one you should be going with as your stack. There are all these terms like Bootstrap, Frameworks, etc – how do they all relate to each other ? If only someone would put together some way to explain all of them you would have a killer site on your hands for newbies and oldies! :-)
No iOS app yet :-( but I hear they are coming.
NetNewsWire might have have a new version soon so keep an eye on that as well.
