It kind of depends on the chassis' structure rather than weight. That being said the only thing more weight accomplishes is the impact is worse for anyone that isn't you.
Look, this time its bullshit. But let's say the company in this case is something like DuPont. Let's say the recognized industry experts are paid to shut up and write whitepapers backing up the company. This has happened plenty of times over the course of history and employees talking about unethical or even downright dangerous behavior should at least be heard I think... even if they don't understand what non-ionizing radiation is.
ZF is generally known for gearboxes, a huge amount of manufacturers use their transmissions in their cars. New corvette uses a zf 10 speed I think, same with vw and BMW.
That's exactly right, and depending upon which outlet you choose there are different industry bros directing shit flinging at different boogeymen. It's tiresome.
Would be nice if instead of using car emissions as a boogeyman they focused on the cargo shipping industry who burn metric fuck tons of bunker oil instead of using alternative fuels. Instead you just get taxes in the guise of 'fixing the environment' by penalizing the working class who in reality contribute very little to co2 and nox emissions.
