This has to be one of the bullshittiest jobs in existence. A more accurate description would be "director of changing things around". Think about it, people with job descriptions like this can't afford to NOT make changes. If a new one comes in and his first order of action is to say "I think theb logo is just fine, there's no reason to change it", his income is in trouble. The only way to keep his job is to change things around and hope he doesn't fuck up too much.
I was actually pleased to be wrong. I felt the flat logo craze had already worn out its welcome by 2016, so it's nice to think that maybe we can all have pretty logos again soon.
(I'll give myself half a point for Helvetica. It's not that exact font, but it's a move in that direction.)
Impressive. Why fix bugs (status message obscuring input field in Messages), when you can change the logo. /s
edit: I do not buy Android license in a way that I would buy MS Windows when I build my PC, mobile manufacturer does. Pixel phones are their consumer brand not Android
You will be surprised.
I buy my Android licence (by buying the phone) just like my Windows licence. And they both spy on me.
