A competitor with that information might have made a rush on a supply-constrained component market or negotiated longer term pricing agreements.
Stories about lurid sex deviants and socialists threats always poll well, and 'computer nerd sex party' is the new cherry flavor titillating bored suburbanites.
They also did a hit on Bernie Sanders on X for his "no artificial super-intelligence" bill, if you saw that, spun as "crazy old socialist scared of computers wants to take away your LLMs".
Facetiously, of course.
He searched his pockets. No more coins; nothing. “I’ll pay you tomorrow,” he told the door. Again he tried the knob. Again it remained locked tight. “What I pay you,” he informed it, “is in the nature of a gratuity; I don’t have to pay you.”
“I think otherwise,” the door said. “Look in the purchase contract you signed when you bought this conapt.”
In his desk drawer he found the contract; since signing it he had found it necessary to refer to the document many times. Sure enough; payment to his door for opening and shutting constituted a mandatory fee. Not a tip.
“You discover I’m right,” the door said. It sounded smug.
From the drawer beside the sink Joe Chip got a stainless steel knife; with it he began systematically to unscrew the bolt assembly of his apt’s money-gulping door.
“I’ll sue you,” the door said as the first screw fell out.
Joe Chip said, “I’ve never been sued by a door. But I guess I can live through it.
nvidia-smi -pl 450 for like a 4% reduction in throughput. I tend to set it around 350W because it's a comfortable temperature blowing on my legs under the desk without warming my office in the summer.
I put together this system two years ago, so it's a little out of date, but it only cost $3000 for the same performance and capability as an Ultra. I don't think I would spend $7000 to save 100W, though.
The big question is, who's competing to sell us our salvation this time?
I was a CyanogenMod user before switching to Pixel, and that experience was a monumental shove towards moving to Graphene.
Afterlife is wonderfully fun and satisfying to experience to completion for the first time, and what it might lack in replayability it more than makes up for with humor and design.
>Total parameter count governs storage: at FP4, MIXTRAL-8X7B fits within 24 GB GDDR6 (Quadro RTX 6000), and GPT-OSS-120B fits within 128 GB unified memory (Apple M4 Max).
The bill isn't about using LLMs to merge your pull requests, it's about discouraging people or companies who might be working on their own private Manhattan Projects from intentionally trying to create the impact equivalent of nuclear weapons, or "Artificial Superintelligence".
We're getting closer than not to an A(S)I arms race. Sanders has lived his entire life in that, and I've been smelling it for a while, too.
If it didn't crash your computer, it eventually displayed a single popup that said "Congrats on not using Internet Explorer!". I wish I still had the hate emails.
They identified them after the fact and appear to have disclosed that. This is what they needed to do to be able to be held accountable and to do better detecting them in the future.
I block ads and ad services at the device and network level and don't use any Meta services (outside of facebookresearch models), so while I'm fortunate not to have been able to be served any of these, it's also kind of unfortunate that I'm in a relatively rare category to know to report them and how.
"We now live in an age where GenAI [generative AI] models can render images depicting the abuse of virtual children that are virtually indistinguishable from those depicting the abuse of actual children. This case illuminates how this evolving technology complicates the lines drawn by the Supreme Court in Stanley, Osborne, and Free Speech Coalition. Indeed, in Free Speech Coalition, the Supreme Court addressed the scope of First Amendment protections for virtual CSAM, but that was nearly twenty-five years ago, and the image-generation technology available today was likely unimaginable back then. Given the relentless advancement in artificial intelligence models, we have some concerns about the lines these cases draw, but we are not free to redraw them ourselves."

Despite the source images not being CSAM, the products of nudify services may be CSAM but not child pornography. Because nudifying minors involves generation of material intended to depict real people who cannot give consent on computers outside the home, I'd consider them not to be protected speech.
The Magic Remote can also be replaced with dumb IR model without a microphone.
Monitor choices also tend charge a premium for equivalent size and quality while lacking some of the features, or introducing other issues. See LG gaming monitors silently installing adware on connection:

My LG OLED C2 also has a great utility to manage deep service-level configurations. Makes it easy to professionally customize without having to fuss with the menus.
We all deal with our shame differently, don't we.
I wonder what accounts for the difference?
Homemakers aren't doing nothing, they're just not represented.
In practice, it stabilizes corporate hierarchies by implying that everyone is exactly where they belong.
The people below you are there for a reason, or they'd be somewhere else, and everyone above you is simultaneously less incompetent than you but not perfectly competent, so you should work hard and strive to beat them. If you don't participate or you fail, hey, you just discovered your level of incompetence.
If you can think of any examples that might disprove this principle, then you've merely highlighted where Peter demonstrated his own level of incompetence, proving its validity. Obviously, though, we don't need to worry about that, because if there were anyone more competent than him, we'd all be using their principle instead.
I'm being ridiculous, but so is this.
Whether you can't describe the analog circuits that correspond to the opcodes of the major mobile architectures running the platform of the app you're designing a UI for, or you couldn't have built any of the services you're hosting on from scratch, no one is going to be disappointed.
There are more people making more money off whatever we're currently calling making computers do things than ever before in history. The rest is largely business as usual.
It's a game of cultural tribalism. The only thing worse for one than not engaging is to upset the status quo unblessed.
It's an extension of a much older, more insidious idea - blood purity. There are still people who would pretend to trace their own lineage back through every scholar, king, and prophet to Adam, while choosing to believe that everyone else is a mongrel line, inferior and subservient to them in some way.
