You make it sound like it is intentionally done but if the shooter is far away/has poor accuracy and the soldier has body armor, chances are he will be incapacitated but not killed. After that the question is: is more morally ok to killed the downed soldier or wait for his unit who is still and active aggressor.
There are thousands of dormant accounts, the other day I found one dormant for 5-6 years, became active 1 year ago and had 95k comments! Most bashing the west and defending Russia and populist regimes
So it is a Twitter clone pretty much based on the screenshot, I'll give it around 1 to 2 years to implode due to bad guidelines, becoming an echo chamber of conspiracy theories and losing most of its users. It will be bleeding money from the start and will try to survive with ads (which not even Twitter is able to) and donations from the hardcore supporters.
For those that would like to see how smooth the game can be, I highly encourage to watch the AGDQ speedrun of the game where they explain a lot of mechanics: https://youtu.be/Z41SIqcsJVU
He went out of his way because he simply doesn't carry cash anymore, what's so hard to grasp?
I live in a capital city in Europe and I hardly ever have cash at hand because EVERYONE accepts credit cards, I can even go days without reaching for my wallet because of NFC.
Except that nobody thinks of nazis when reading pcmasterace, but you need to step out of your way and call out how you feel offended by a term that has no relation. Given that you are offended by it, why don't you go back even further a call out slavery and racism in colonial times?
It would be interesting to see the reaction if consoles had to be open to other store (my opinion is that they shouldn't since their are not general purpose devices per se). When the Epic Game Store appeared, the pc gaming community was up in arms against it because it was a Steam rival (sort of a tribal reaction) but were complaining against the NVIDEA GPU monopoly
I see so many people complaining about it and I wonder if it is a US thing. I'm a FAANG engineer in Europe with a small LinkedIn network (less than a 100) and I rarely get contacted unless I open my LinkedIn profile to be seen by recruiters.
Do you have it as "Open to positions" or whatever is called? Reading this thread I feel like I'm flying under the radar somehow given my experience. Could it be US specific? I'm a FAANG engineer in Europe with a small LinkedIn network (less than 100) and I rarely get bothered
Because it is know that Russia looks the other way when dealing with russian ransomware gangs (as long as they don't target Russian business) and it is curiously convinient that it happens now?
That is such a non comment, dollar is the currency used to buy and sell because is the easiest one trade in the international market, not because it has some mystical power. They can sell it for euros, pounds or whatever.
Oil is currently being used to keep dictatorships and regimes afloat within the OPEC.
The United States does not control how many barrels of oil SA, UAE or other countries can push to the market.
You can pick up your baggages and move to one those countries since they are the same or better as you say, but it must be China, Russia, Cuba or equivalent; none of west or northern Europe. That kind of comments show that you have never lived in a dictatorship.
So you are arguing that all the energy we waste to solve sudokus is small compared to the flights that some bankers do and the oil required to move the armored vehicles with money? Really?
Except that all this embassadors were already rich before Qatar, so yeah, I can judge them for selling out while showing up in an ad telling me how beautiful the game is.
The ones that block freedom of the press, block and censore the internet, deploy military force against civilians, anex peaceful territories by force, push other democracies to overwrite their history, and commit genocide... So the Chinese government.
My favorite theory is that the killing blow was actually done by the secret service, but not because they had a grand scheme to kill him and blame all on Lee, but because the senior members of the SC were hangover and gave rifle duty to a junior that had just completed training. During the commotion of the first shots, he accidentally fired from the second vehicle when it accelerated and killed the US president.
The other scenario is that that text is the first iteration and gave a positive KPI, if there are enough complains related to the structure of the text and is linked to increase in refunds, the team in charge would A/B another iteration targeting refund rate as KPI (although that might be difficult to correlate)
Current amzn employee working on the retail website. Unless a team is jumping/ignoring all standard operation precedures, everything must go through an A/B test to prove that it works at increasing the revenue or whatever the KPI target is. This includes text that might need to go through legal in some cases
Sounds great until companies sell the license to maintenance as the last buck to squish from a product to a third party that will jack up the price just to keep the service running. Better to either force an open source/schematics approach and let the community keep it, or force to sell a certain number of licenses for maintenance.
I think I lost a neuron reading your comment. You think that the state of New York lost all its wind when they built all the skyscrapers in a comparable small portion of the state?
Not only that, it will most likely change the political map for the next 20 years in those countries, at least at the community level. If most of the refugees get voting rights (at least in Spain or Colombia where most can get the nationality through ancestry), they will NOT vote for any left leaning party that helps or validates the regime
