It is true that many managers are afraid of remote working. Because to make it effective as a manager you have to know how to evaluate the tasks and subtasks and that requires also technical skills.
However the modern manager has these skills, remote working is here and it will stay. I believe the ideal teams will have both type of workers.
everything you see changed in Microsoft was done by the people, all people, those that work there and the community as well, they pushed things, the culture and all; those people working there are just people like the rest of the world; outside it was known the company official position through their executive voices but the people working there and the community in general helped tremendously steering the direction -- and of course the company desire to survive, to stay alive. it was slow, it is still slow, it is a tug war but it is happening :)
I believe the humanity moves on its way naturally anyway, those trying desperately to move mountains are simply wasting their lives here on Earth. A balanced way is a key to everything.
Isn't it obvious? Look at him, look at what kind of people he is looking to hire. He is not looking at people that are mature, balanced and harmonious. He is looking for people to burn with passion and work enormous efforts. Well when you conduct your life like this you can't have too many outcomes but most likely one of those worthy of drama awards :)
For who is wise enough these simple priciples are everywhre around us to observe and learn.
In the last 40 years the number of people living with 2$ per day half ed?
So the $$
So what actually got better there? I think what happened is that food is cheaper but also more crappy.
This article is full in propaganda it seems.
I totally agree with this. Schools should train our kids for real life, slowly and gradually. It much more important how tools are used than what tools are used for training purposes. Later when they specialise then what tools are used will matter.
I found the article very good explaining the basics and history of awd vs 4wd.
What you explain is the status of today's 4wd vs awd, where indeed the features in awd vs 4wd cars can overlap a lot and because of the big variety of implementations quite hard to understand by regular Joe
"of Europe, nothing is open Sunday and nothing is open late at night"
Hehe, try to visit eastern Europe and you'll get your wishes -- that is Europe too you know? ;-)
I do not think you can imagine what kind of money (huge amounts) and what kind of software (worse possible you can release) is developed in fraudulent schemes where corrupt governments meet corrupt businesses. Having them by law open spurce I believe it will stop a lot of money to be wasted and quality of software to be much better compared to what is happening now.
This is the same or even worse in Romania. I just sent to Romania prime minister a link to this article via his FB account. I am curious to see if I will get any kind of answer.
I think it can be drawn a parallel with the centralized vs decentralised network. Which one is better?
And I think the stronger one for the species is a combination of the two.
