unparagoned··on I stopped reviewing my agents' code. Here's what I do instead
I think you need both. In some situations one is bad and the other is great and vice versa.
unparagoned··on ASML says it sold 'absolutely nothing' in Europe in 2026
That’s completely useless. The point is that we need full control over the full pipeline for security.

If China invades Taiwan 70% of noting is still nothing.

unparagoned··on ASML says it sold 'absolutely nothing' in Europe in 2026
No subsidies and government intervention aren’t bad things. Even Trump realise that.
unparagoned··on Depression has tripled in the last 15 years. Arthur Brooks about the cause
Depression is related to biological health of the brain. People are exercising less leading to worse biological health of the brain. So you’d expect depression to be increasing.

Reinvesting doesn’t impact profits they are making. That’s not how it works
unparagoned··on I won't read LLM authored fiction
But your view of art is based on who you “think” made it. So if someone lies about who made the art your views on the art changed. That’s a strange position that doesn’t make sense to me.
unparagoned··on US citizen charged after GrapheneOS phone wipes during airport search
Deleted stuff can easily be recovered. I think the full clean will remove the encryption keys hence making it unrecoverable.
unparagoned··on Weightlifting beats running for blood sugar control, researchers find (2025)
Ideally you’d weightlifting a few days a week and do cardio in a few days. So it’s not an either or.
unparagoned··on Sick leave: Germany rising but not the worst in Europe
Paid holiday isn’t a work day
unparagoned··on Sick leave: Germany rising but not the worst in Europe
That’s what the article is saying but there is no way that maths out with legit long term sick.
unparagoned··on GPT-5.6 Sol Ultra will be in Codex
You probably should test your fake scenarios before making claims on how what llms do.

Why is it that almost every time someone makes a claim it turns out wrong when tested

unparagoned··on GPT-5.6 Sol Ultra will be in Codex
A human requires sleep the update their mental model to use that learning years later.

Take a human and prevent them from sleeping after covering a fact then years later they won’t know it.

unparagoned··on Amazon will stop accepting new customers for Mechanical Turk
If you want data to train a Llm, you might want human data for specific parts vs Llm.
unparagoned··on Amazon will stop accepting new customers for Mechanical Turk
I guess that’s the dead internet theory. People are trying to train llms using mt, but just training on itself.
unparagoned··on Electric anti-aircraft interceptor drone breaks world air speed record at 434mph
Electric systems are 100% efficient at heat generation.
unparagoned··on What does Jeff Bezos think is going to happen?
It’s pretty much impossible to buy half the books I want.
unparagoned··on How little exercise can you get away with?
I think the key thing is to make people aware of the consequences of their choices. If people are completely aware of how much they are fucking up their life fine, that’s on them. Many people don’t realise just how much of a big impact it has. Is not just physical health. For mental health nothing beats exercise.
unparagoned··on How little exercise can you get away with?
God your comments are soo horrible and toxic.
unparagoned··on Men's average testosterone levels have halved in last 50 years
I’m pretty sure other experts are also saying that it’s due to a different way of measuring levels.
unparagoned··on We charge $10k a week to delete AI-generated code
I had a product where I was doing accountancy ratios and it’s not that simple since you have lots of different source data to use and it was such a nightmare to combine everything in the right way. Ai did that easily. Also writing code to extract unstructured data was a few hours vs weeks of work.
unparagoned··on What Do We Know About the Microplastics Inside Us?
That’s wrong. Only if the studies are powerful enough and are looking at the right stuff can you make any reasonable conclusions.

If the studies are powerful enough then that absolutely isn’t evidence of absence at all.

unparagoned··on The Egg Bandits Made a Thousand Times the Fine They Just Paid for Price Fixing
I’m not sure what this has to do with capitalism. You get as bad or even worse under other systems.
unparagoned··on When 2+2=5
The equivalent would be hypnosis style crap, where some people will tell you stuff for some other just as stupid reason
unparagoned··on Not everything should cost a token: the case for deterministic AI
People and teams absolutely are doing really dumb and stupid stuff. And they could learn a lot from this article
unparagoned··on Should DayQuil Be Legal?
Therapeutic index of fentanyl is much higher than heroin or morphine, but I don’t think people really think that it makes it safer.
unparagoned··on What Ozempic does to the gut-brain axis
Healthy and whole foods are a different thing. A healthy diet would have so much fiber that 5k Fritos be near impossible
unparagoned··on What Ozempic does to the gut-brain axis
No with the fiber that’s perfectly fine. The slow release of sugar is perfectly fine. Obesity is the main risk for insulin, fast release sugar is bad for insulin via obesity not on its own.
unparagoned··on What Ozempic does to the gut-brain axis
Fruit juice isn’t considered healthy. It has worse health outcomes than soda
unparagoned··on What Ozempic does to the gut-brain axis
Not really the fiber and stuff is normally too filling
unparagoned··on The brain was not designed for this much bad news
Many said that the war with Iran was on their mind. You even have people in this thread saying that Harris being the war candidate was a factor
