This started as a funny cli project because I was sick of AWS and Terraform.
Hope to release a public beta next month.

Principal Engineer/Tech Lead with about ~8YOE. I've been in enterprise/big tech as well as startups, last two positions are from SF and NY startups. I can code, do DevOps/Infra, lead teams, etc. If you use twitter/X you probably saw me, feel free to throw me a DM there.
I also wrote a blog post a while back when I did a talk at work, it's Go focused but still worth the read I think.

Abel is a police technology company providing innovative solutions to law enforcement agencies. We're building software that directly impacts the effectiveness of police officers in the field. Our mission is to reshape public safety and save American cities – which means our work needs to be exceptionally reliable and intuitive to use.

It's not fancy and you will have to deal with a lot of horrible plugins that clients will want, or their marketing team, however from the product perspective it's an amazing technology - just like any that lasts 20 years in web dev IMO.
This isn't by any chance a defense of WP but before dunking on it think what else can you offer to a small business for the same price and functionalities.
However looking at the pods and checking their env vars has helped me a bit.
Not to mention the constant pain that's localization/internationalization as well as some of the queries becoming worse and worse. The service is supposed to become better with time, not the contrary. Plus, of course, all the SEO garbage.
>Stay tuned!
No, I don't think I will.

Full stack developer/software engineer with experience in multiple stacks/technologies (including devops and cloud) both working alone or with a team. I'm looking for something full time but I also do freelance/contract work depending on my availability.People hate on Mastodon but there you can actually find insightful content with hashtags and see what you want, I spent a good amount of time curating my twitter TL but I don't see much use in going there right now. I don't preach to just migrate to mastodon or other places but Twitter seems like it has run its course, for me at least, I hope it improves since there used to be a lot of great content from developers once you block/mute people playing the algorithm.
Additionally I'm getting DM requests all the time from bots, today alone I got 3, I don't understand what's happened.
Remote: Yes
Willing to relocate: Yes, although I'd need a relocation package. I have an EU passport so working anywhere in the EU isn't an issue.
Technologies: Javascript ecosystem (TypeScript, NodeJS, React, MERN stack, I do both backend and frontend although it's been a while since I touched CSS) and Java (Spring Boot). I've touched a bit of Go before and other tech like Ruby, PHP, Python, native mobile dev, Flutter, React Native and a long etcetera list. I've also dealt with cloud and devops although I wouldn't consider myself an expert.

I'm a full stack developer that's been freelancing for 4+ years now and my last full time role was CTO of a startup/scaleup. I'm looking for any long term full time SWE position, backend or frontend doesn't matter much. I want to settle for at least a year (more preferred) in a company or work consistently with one tech stack.
haha
I'm unfamiliar with Rust, so I'm mostly going to address the little I know about Go. It's a great language if you want low memory consumption, concurrency and a fairly simple codebase - the language is minimalistic and C-like so it tries to shove complexity away. I'm someone who hasn't touched anything with pointers in ages and really loved it. Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and from what I've heard a lot of Google services are being developed in Go, think about what they have in common and if you have a similar use case or you specialize in backend and devops then GO for it.
However people are reporting that Rust is coming to the Linux kernel soon so it seems like a solid choice no matter what you pick.
I think I have a similar background to you and learning Go definitely made me a better programmer and it barely took any time.
(Self promotion ahead, skip to last paragraph) I even made an article[1] that's an introduction to Go where I talk about everything that seemed interesting to me and I follow up with a small project, it's meant for junior to mid level developers that want to start with Go or are undecided. Perhaps have a quick look (it's been well received and featured in Hashnode).
Overall I'd highly recommend learning Go, it was a breath of fresh air for me after working mostly with Node and Spring Boot. If I had to make a backend system, depending on the requirements, Go would definitely be a top choice for me.

Every new game from the last five years has been a disaster in one way or the other. They are even managing to slowly kill their never-ending holy cow: World of Warcraft.
You said everything you had to. Wow.
