Next time you get into a conversation about work-life balance and say you don't have time for a workout, think again about that.
Obviously, overall diet, sleep, exercise, etc. etc. matters as well.
It's not that you have to be crazy, it's that most people around you are actually the crazy ones who push conformance on you because they can't hack it.
Innovating is difficult due to many people being so very risk averse. Ideally you have a balance between caution and boldness, however, people lose the will to take chances when the "bottom" line is at risk.
Of course, when it comes to what NASA does, the bottom line also involves human lives. Although, then NASA's existence would have and probably is still considered crazy by some number of people.
Instead, I focus on nutritional quality including density and variety. I find it leads to better health at a lower calorie count. Yes, you have to adjust for your lifestyle like working out, etc. However, it's much easier to manage and squeeze in those indulgences.
Anxiety, Stress, lack of sleep and/or proper nutrition also plays a role in decreasing production of gastric juices. Naturally this leads to a downward spiral of compounding issues.
On a related note, there has been some interesting research on how acid reflux and gerd are usually more likely to be caused by too little acid.

They should never be used unless you're in a shared hosting environment where you don't have a choice.
These "kids" can't regulate their emotions or put themselves in another person's shoes. Those are difficult things. Teaching them isn't easy either.
Ordinary probiotics such as the powdery capsules that is so prevalent aren't the most effective. They don't get retained as well. Liquid ones will stick to the small intestinal walls more easily. I implemented my own hack by eating something that is mucilaginous which sticks to the intestines. Then I take a capsule shortly afterwards. Seems to work well... for me.
This protocol worked for me after I hosed my gut microbiome which caused me to lose 80 lbs in 2 months. Take of it as you will.
Exercise is critically important, when you digestion is in turmoil as peristalsis likely gets impacted, at least it did for me. Peristalsis is the undulation of the esophagus, stomach, and intestines which pushes food forward. Exercise restarts this if it isn't functioning correctly.
It's important for keeping the healthy bacteria in the large intestines out of the small intestines. You don't want to cross the streams in this case as it can be very painful and even debilitating.
That's my recipe for a holistic reset and restoration of floral balance.
Solar farms are hurting the ecosystem when they break and leak out. Even if they aren't liquid based, solid state versions have thin films which contain some chemicals like cadmium and arsenic. Cadmium telluride has been introduced more recently has it is safer.
There is nothing wrong with them per se. What I feel is wrong is our perceptions and expectations of them. Then, to add fuel to the fire, people benchmark their lives based on how much of these "resources" they have.
People can't even show respect for the dignity of other people and allow them to be themselves. To do so makes many people feel that they are invalidated in life as they so obsessively struggle at a breakneck speed to secure their sense of self-worth.
Even something as daring to be big is such a huge problem. Look at entrepreneurs and think about all the arguments presented about what it takes to be a successful one. How many are portrayed as "eccentric".
So imagine trying to question something like love... it's like questioning a religion, only much worse...
We shouldn't be having this problem anymore. It's a massive detriment to the economies of scale model. Most people don't need to buy a car overnight, which ironically is because they are so expensive.
Keeping a small amount of cars for test driving and personal inspection is all that is needed. Then all that needs to be done is to batch up requests for production and shipping. Charge more 2 day shipping. Maybe Amazon can get into selling cars and same day deliveries for free with Amazon Prime.
Circulation in these areas won't be as great by the nature of things so clogging them up has a greater impact. It prevents nutrient/waste flow to tissues. Just think about that for a bit. Accumulating waste and blocking delivery of nutrients.
Balancing sugar intake and moving around, even if it's just walking, on a regular basis will fix you up real fast.
Also, the hue detection was triggering on people who clearly had temporary issues and could have been helped instead of subjugated. Some of them were far more interesting and "healthier" than the sheep, like Kogami. It's more of a problem if someone doesn't get angry about something like Kogami has.
I'm building a GPS tracker that I can take on hikes and will store coordinates and altitude to an SD card so I can generate 3d models of the path I take or overlay with 3d maps.
No one is perfect, and the upper tier do not seem to have a solid understanding of this fact. People get picked because they can talk the talk or had some success at some point and that automatically decides they are good. Even failing can increase your prestige for reasons such as learned from failure or the blame gets shifted. However, I feel that it's all too often that the CEO failed to adapt and shifted blame.
It's one thing when someone invests as a form of aid, however, I see this being gamed for profit.
You can leave and take a break. Or talk to your boss. I don't know what your responsibilities are but it's never worth it to go burnt out for a long time. You risk breaking yourself.
I experienced that and it sucks, big time. I'm becoming stronger because of it. However, I'd rather see people learn without going through that.
I suspect you're worried about the consequences of talking to your boss. If he's an asshole chances are that was already contributing to burnout. You'll win if you get canned. It doesn't reflect on your skills so don't let your ego get bruised because of a trifling matter. If your boss is semi-human, you also win.
What helped me a lot was therapy and yoga/meditation. In yoga, good instructors reinforce forgetting about worries of life for a "mere" hour and focusing on myself. Once I stopped resisting that concept, life started improving rapidly. It's a hard thing to go, dropping "everything". Finding someone to talk or a group of people who understand is really important and there are many people who have gone through these kind of things.
Many don't learn or understand the meaning of priorities until the experience something traumatic.
So talk to your boss and don't quit before finding a new job. Or quit and take a long break.
Economic issues, politics, racism.... oppression on various fronts from the system down to the family to the self.
Drugs (and alcohol) are an escape. Normal activities also provide an escape when people get obsessed with them. TV, video games, food (my escape), exercise for some addicts, sex, etc.
Just legalize cannabis and decriminalize other drugs already.
Then there is the possibility someone walks in between the van and target. At some point you have to stop the argument that this and that does x and y so z is ok. People are afraid of excessive radiation and the government isn't listening to people.
One thing that infuriates me is that people making these arguments don't even know that x-rays (and cats) use ionizing radiation which is what carries real risks. Incidentally, MRIs do not use ionizing radiation so you can stay in there a "while". Thats how they can do so many cool studies using MRIs.
