Could be that it provides more flexiblity to the airframe. Or that too much horizontal stabilizer would limit pitch ability. Other aerodynamic effects may be in play as well, since it's carrying the payload in the center.

Single engine out isn't probably much of a concern as there are two redundant engines per side.

I'm just speculating though.

Django won't let you name a model field with a double underscore, I believe. Not sure how this would work with a Postgres JSON type column though, but it would probably throw an error.

No, but you can get a good idea of it. If your UX is as "world class" as you claim then I would expect you'd want to show it off as a main selling point.

Yeah it's actually really handy. I can send spotify to my chromecast from my phone, and as long as I have spotify open on my laptop, I can use the media keys to pause or skip.
