Interesting...3DO is sensitive enough to know brand of blank CD and how fast the image was burnt?

Besides the wobble detection on the PSX, are there any other consoles that have these innate security features built in? I know that its still impossible to burn a Black CD PSX to this day.

ah will remember.

I'm not sure how your comment is relevant here. I'm happy for you though. No I cannot charge money as my services are free.

No problem! I just happened to finish the Svelte tutorial yesterday and I was curious if Three.js could be brought to Svelte.

Svelte was so intuitive and I naturally thought 3D environments could be efficiently managed was when I googled "Svelte + three.js"

Coming from PlayCanvas, Babylon.js I'm super excited to see the development of Threlte Studio. What I like about DREI is that it lays out everything like a directory but I was reaching for the familiar "studio tool"

what is the ETA for Threlte Studio?

You know what's incredible about your post is that this is something I'm hearing from nearly everybody running a SaaS, its bizarre like a coin flip reverts to ~0.5, SaaS seems to revert to ~0.2

I use it and it does a lot of what I used to do manual deployment

so I was wondering the same thing as GP, could this be a self-hosted plasmo of sorts

Absolutely crazy. when it zoomed out there were still whole bunch of galaxies

how huge is the universe? its like asking ants how big the earth is.

the only "jewish math" you need to know that is useful is gematria

yeah physical exercise should've been at top of the list

yo take this comment down man

we can't have people crowding this space also

don't tell em about family offices

Same here and you know it's not all bad. Just very lonely at the top.

what if you could get lonely strangers with each other but you can't talk to each other that would solve a lot of the issues you described

1) Smoke weed, drink alcohol

2) Pick up a religion and just put in the minimum effort (i observe shabbat)

3) Consume psilocybin when weed doesn't work or you need a tolerance break

4) Pick up a hobby with community online/offline

5) Argue with people on X

6) Play games with strangers

7) Join a club with common interests

8) HN

9) Volunteer

10) Absolutely avoid social media like DM'ing with ppl

11) Travel

holy crap! how was this built hope to see some code

harm reduction doesn't work when somebody actively/constantly seeks harm. we've put the personal liberties of a small group of people addicted to hard drugs above the rest. that is the misplaced compassion I'm talking about that hasn't worked.

what comments like GP ignore is that there has been housing provisions for homeless/drug addicted population in the past and each time it did not alleviate any of its residence from their afflictions, instead these free housing units became just another bazaar, a place to do business.

medical clinic is an interesting choice of words.

One might think there is a licensed medical doctor prescribing hard drugs without fear of prosecution, free from law enforcement.

Chinatown residents would certainly disagree whether it has been beneficial for them. Yaletown residents certainly disagree

After decades of decriminalized drug use, people are finally fed up with it, see through the limitations of compassion that is largely driven by political ideology and are voting for stronger laws.

Yet I question whether we will see actual enforcement.

Camus and his views remind me of a certain political spectrum in Western society that is very popular.

we are all aware. seems weird that you would point this out.

typically residential real estate trails commercial

but this does not seem like the bottom

i do wonder if you can turn this into a residential unit?

if not could you create a company and just live inside it?

Does this mean all the game modes are gone? TTT, Zombie Run, Theater?

Garry's mod remains the best bang for buck in terms of replayability and fun.

many many hours were spent on TTT

Nintendo is a very old company. Gerontocracy might be a factor in their culture.

If the fish rots from the head then this "ny state of mind" doesn't begin with Stripe if you understand who I'm talking about.

Its incredible that the harm that SBF has done with Solana and other ponzi coins would get direct support from Stripe

I am quite taken back by Stripes decision here but dissing PG's golden boy will get me banned so I suggest everybody to read @bitfinexed on X on why USDC/Tether is extremely shady.

but I don't know which payment processor like Stripe can do the following:

- marketplace onboarding for buyers and sellers

- crowdfunding

- mass payouts/intermediary payouts

- doesn't hide fees for dashboard

too bad you can't do this in Canada

im not sure i understand are customers of AWS/Linode/Digitalocean now required to submit passport/drivers license to host a blog or website?

what is a rough rule of thumb for each 1nm reduction? What does that increase in transistor density look like each year? If the jump is bigger (5nm->3nm), does that rate of change increase too?

trying to understand the economic impact of these announcements as I don't understand this topic well enough

What is the onramp/offramp process for the tokens used in this micro-economy?

If somebody seeds Independence Day 2 and by some miracle becomes the most seeded movie, how does that somebody cash out his tokens?

If somebody wants to download Independence Day 2 what and how is it being converted into tokens?

> 11 9s of durability

so thats 99.(eleven 9s) ?

where would this sort of database used? streaming financial instrument ticks? Do you point Kinesis and its able to write/read super quickly?
