spicyxtreme··on Show HN: Review my startup: AtticTV, MusicTV (MTV) for the Youtube Generation
yeah! the "unsync" part is supposed to come from your personal playlist.. if you don't like the current song, u can switch to your playlist.. but probably, it's not evident/intuitive enough?

spicyxtreme··on Show HN: Review my startup: AtticTV, MusicTV (MTV) for the Youtube Generation
we view the sync experience as a collective experience where you can feel like you're watching/listening along with the rest of the world. and i feel that, that feeling of togetherness is a unique emotion that could be a huge differentiator. p.s. we may be wrong on this.

and yes. i think i have an idea of how to skip and sync at the same time :) will definitely try to implement it.

spicyxtreme··on Getting Started with an Idea
well visual mockups help you explain the idea better to customers as they can see the actual thing.. i've known some people to have pre-sold their products through mock-ups.. because it solves a huge problem that the customer is facing
spicyxtreme··on Ask HN: What is the coolest things that have been done in/with node.js?

spicyxtreme··on Ask HN:How to find where your target users hangout online?
Hrm. Your target demographic is super wide! I don't think there's a tool that does this. But you can possibly do it this way.

Run a Facebook Ad campaign for 3 days (at $10 a day max budget), Then interview all those that "liked" your page or signed up for your form personally. To build their user profiles.

spicyxtreme··on The importance of sleep in a startup
this is definitely true.

My best epiphanies have come at the gym. i.e. physical activity, rather than from playing angry birds.

spicyxtreme··on Getting Started with an Idea
If you're technical: Build the first (scrappy) version yourself and do some initial testing with potential users

If you're not: Do customer development by talking to customers and verifying that there is a need and that they will pay. then, with data in hand, try to get a technical co-founder that shares your vision to help you build it

spicyxtreme··on The Tao of Badass: An Honest Review
hahaha.. great targeting for this post.. u know ure target market well
spicyxtreme··on Ask HN: As a Co-founder, whats the best way to drop out of a startup?
i would be up front with him on what i think about the business.. however, if he still persists, try to help him out in the way of suggesting potential replacements for myself
spicyxtreme··on 3 Ways I Would Improve Hacker News
