While I do agree in principal, it is important this is a consensual choice made by the artists themselves. That is the only way to have healthy cultural change.
At the moment, we have e.g. Suno's CEO, who has publicly stated "people never really liked making music in the first place" - this is the kind of detached and exploitative person that we are seeing trying to force copyright changes on the rest of us.
You still need the technical proficiency to be able to make edits beyond that, but I think studios would be foolish to let go of their experts in the first place.
Unfortunately for them, they had both of their kids' names tattooed to their neck, which helped reduce the number of possible suspects.
Wild watching back that footage the next morning.
I tried OpenClaw for about 10 minutes, and the feedback I got (even using Claude under the hood) felt very "trust me bro, I've got this" - which made me trust it less.
I'm sure there's a way to get more verbose feedback? But I did feel too out of the loop to feel comfortable.

Universities have made the mistake of competing with YouTube (video lectures), whereas what they can actually offer is direct access to domain experts.
I am skeptical that any other solution has much of a moat. So if the creators of this are after any feedback, I would offer that their best bet is to be competitive on User Experience, rather than underlying technology.
What changed it? Actually spending a weekend with Claude Code building personal projects I had wanted to for the last 2 years, which also makes it obvious that we can solve sustainability issues using this tech.
Also seeing the open models reach the frontier and knowing the above ass-hats aren't going to end up with a monopoly helps a lot too.
The "panic" is also largely connected to a strong communal feeling (for legitimate reasons) that democratic processes are being skipped for big money and backroom deals.
I suspect - like with a lot of AI issues - if the companies building these took more time to have proper conversation with the impacted parties, there wouldn't be nearly the same backlash.
Also not allowed to use "solar energy", "Geothermal energy", "EV infrastructure", "electrification", "Hydrogen energy".
Welp, America, you either gotta kick this administration out, or enjoy cosplaying the 1800s.
Stoked that AI is in a place we have legitimate options available!

Just wondering if the professional programmers here are finding the same thing? Or different?
Though this doesn't work in public settings, so I am also not totally sure what the long-view is..
Here's the tricky part: It is not clear from any of Microsoft's documentation whether leaving chats on "Auto" may be funneling to the Claude subprocessor when it chooses to.
Does this mean that non-US Microsoft business environments may have started sending user prompts to Anthropic in the US by default?
If this is you, I would recommend talking to people outside of the AI industry - we've seen OpenAI and Anthropic continuously lying, abusing lobbying, training on pirated IP, trying to scare politicians into blocking actually open AI from abroad, etc etc
Why the hell would we trust these companies to be impartial regulators now?
My hopes now lay with a decentralized approach of open models, trusting people to adapt them to local needs and security, rather than a nationwide paternalism.
Then, as soon as there are open models who threaten their businesses, they cry "distillation and IP theft".
It's the last 3 years of pure hypocrisy and fear-baiting for investment.
To be honest, I think people would now prefer the risk of misused open models, when the alternative is giving these guys more power.
As far as I can tell, Echoed is also closed the same way Discord is?
This is clearly false to the rest of the world.
Years later it was uncovered that it was never System of a Down, but one Joe Pleiman
