Tezos is getting ZCash-type privacy features in a few months and has been running ETH 2.0-type PoS for years. Oh and has on chain governance.

Web scraping does for the web what TikTok does for music. It enables creativity.

You can take a meme (i.e., song/web site) and change/combine it to make a new meme.

Are you me?

Great, now I can home from work!

So now we start unbundling grubhub and local shops start losing even more?

Real missed opportunity not calling this "Swifty Swift"?

I built https://www.nextweeksplaylist.com to help me more easily listen to bands coming in town, I know a few people here on HN enjoy using it too.

I'd buy all of these if it started with #1: Experts deliver.

Hi! Thanks for the shout out!

always leave a failing test

I think we'll see AI assist in the 80% of design work that is bland/generic and get out of the way for the other 20% that is interesting/obsessive/fun.

1994 hands down

Here were my results from being on the top of HackerNews for a day: https://imgur.com/a/CeOJ974

8% of visitors signed up (goal 1). Numbers before were fewer than 5 visitors a day with ~0 signups.

Absolutely, you can pick genres instead of just your favorite venues.

I love this. Seems great at a party with a projector and sheet!

Sorry, you cannot just take a board exam and start practicing medicine. Law, you can.

I think this is the same question of "Why isn't there a bar exam for medical doctors". "Being qualified" for software requires nothing less than hands-on training.

Until software moves to more apprenticeships/residencies, I'm afraid we stuck in this "infancy" of a field.

In the backlog...stay tuned.

I actually have been working on adding the UK. Shoot me a message on twitter and I'll keep you posted for when it is released!

Thanks, it's been a lot of iterations. I'm thinking of doing a blog post showing the UI/UX iterations I've gone through.

Yeah I've used it. It looks like they are trying to do something like this, just buggy/not well executed, so I took a stab at it.

I had a friend mention this to me too recently. I just grab the artist's top 3 tracks and add them to your playlist. Perhaps I could use setlist.fm to put songs more likely to be heard at the upcoming shows. Thanks!

I can look into it. Do you have a site you browse to find upcoming shows in NO?

Hey thanks for the info. And yeah, I just wanted to provide a different way to discover new music instead of some algorithm. I think a venue’s calendar is just another nice way to do this. Enjoy.

Looked into this. SongKicks licensing is really restrictive once I start using their API. Do you have a site you use for upcoming shows in Tel Aviv?

Yeah I think festival support should be added to my backlog. I love listening to festival lineups even when I’m not going.
