I am glad to get off of logi options though. Even before it finally stopped working altogether, it would frequently just stop working and my mouse settings would revert to default behavior.

- Mary Magdalene who had 7 devils cast out of her
- Mary of Bethany who anointed Christ with oil close to his crucifixion
- Unnamed woman who anointed Christ with oil and tears in the home of Simon
Not only are these three woman separate and distinct, none of them are even explicitly called out as prostitutes. So they both conflated their stories and assumed what the sin was.
Other Marys in the Gospels:
- Mary the mother of Christ
- Mary the mother of James
- Mary of Clopas
In my opinion, having a high sample rate only really matters during the production phase and does not have a noticeable effect on the final form factor. If the producer uses high sample rate during the creation process, I see no reason why the listener would care if the file they’re listening to is higher than even 44.1kHz unless they are planning on using it for their own production.
In reality, record labels basically loan a lump sum to the artist to pay for producing the product. This loan also comes with a contract to own some/all of the final product. The artist then has to earn that money back in order to pay off the loan before they ever get a share of the profits.
It's easy to say that musicians should be more careful with the contracts they sign, but the system is kind of stacked against them if they want to pursue this career. Nowadays, you can make it fairly big (possibly) by doing most things yourself but record labels are still out their signing artists.
EDIT: I was incorrect. You don't have to pay back the record label if your music makes no money. I have removed the statement that implied that.
So now let's look at the artists under these record labels. Do they get a cut of the deal that Spotify has with the company? As far as I can tell, they do not. Artists only get paid royalties based on how much their songs are streamed, which is extremely low. They do not get any money from the backdoor deal that Spotify has with their label.
Personally I think artists have the right to be mad at both Spotify and their label.
> Lawrence considered the eighth season to be the end of the show Scrubs, going so far as to ask ABC if he could change the name to Scrubs Med School. ABC declined, but Lawrence still advised fans to treat it as a new show, even putting a caption under the "Created By" on the X-ray in the opening sequence saying [Med School]
So the showrunner treated it like a spinoff but the network wanted to keep the name.
Some obligatory personal hot takes:
- the Scrubs finale should be considered the last episode of season 8 (which was great). Season 9 should be considered a spinoff series.
- The Blacklist recently aired the series finale and I would consider it a disaster finale. It has ruined the series for me, and I no longer recommend it to friends.
- I think most comedies aren’t ruined by a series finale. That’s probably due to the character over plot idea, as there usually isn’t a storyline I’m dying to finish.

This is a fork of the Ship of Harkinian PC port for ocarina of time. If you just want to play the normal game on PC, you can go to the original repo here: https://github.com/HarbourMasters/Shipwright
I’m very excited for this Perfect Dark port because I love that game. It would be cool if someone creates a mod that supports online multiplayer.
I understand where you’re coming from, but I believe the logical fallacy you’ve stumbled upon is termed as “whataboutism”.
If we turned down every complaint just because it wasn’t deemed as harmful as another complaint that was turned down, few things would change.
The frustrating part was that my home assistant raspberry pi was hardwired into one of the nodes that died, so my automation to change my thermostat wasn't working and it was stuck on a setting that I normally only set for one hour in the day. Obviously I could change it manually, but I didn't realize that it hadn't changed until it had been like 5 hours.
EDIT: crap, I just checked again and two of my nodes are offline now. Only the root node is working. Too late in the evening to fix it now, guess I’ll be working on that in the morning.
Regardless, it’s not just about popstars. People like listening to music that they can connect to on a human to human level. They do also like listening to music that is just there to dance to. Both can coexist, but I don’t see people connecting with music that AI writes simply because there isn’t a persona there to connect with.
There are already people in law that are pushing back on the legality of this in regards to violating first amendment rights. [1]

EDIT: pluralized bills, after realizing that there were two related bills regarding this.
This video starts off a bit weird where he seems to conflate a front desk job at a bowling alley with the manager position, which was odd to me. I think if I show this to somebody, I’ll just tell them to skip the first minute.
After that, I found the arguments put forward to be really compelling. I always found Spotify’s business model to be a bit shakey, but I’d never done much research. It’s nice to see an insiders perspective. I’ll probably do more research into this now.
It's not editorial - it's lifted from the report:
> If this rate of water loss continues, the lake would be on track to disappear in the next five years.
1. See this youtube video which shows a photo from each year from 1984 - 2020. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THg0AEV7nK8
What needs to happen, according to the report, is that we give the lake back the proportion it needs to survive and then adjust the amount of water that everyone is using. Overall usage needs to go down, not just what is used for decorative plants.
1. From the report: "Cities and industry account for the final 9% of consumptive water use, of which 90% is outdoor water use (irrigation for lawns and other decorative plants)". 9% of 90% is about ~8%.
2. The report lists "reservoir loss" as 8%, but it also generally refers to that as indirect loss from agriculture use so I lump that 8% into the agriculture category.
Sync - On iOS, you can use iCloud to sync your files between your Mac and iPhone. I imagine that there are more configuration options for this on Android.
Publish - lots of different ways to deploy your notes to a site. There's one repo that helps you publish with Mkdocs [1], and I'm sure there are other tools the community has created to solve this problem.
It may not be as simple to set up as Notion, but that's the price you pay for wanting a solution to be cheap, private, and let you own your own data.
And yes, I do have the setting checked to auto play the next episode.
